They are only meaningless to the supporter who doesn't like and doesn't go to friendlies.

Besides the term 'friendly' is the wrong description of these games. They are pre-season games and an essential part of preparing for the forthcoming season for all reasons that you've stated.

Hampton beat Beaconsfield 6-1 today with ex Academy23 player Ryan Hill scoring a hat-trick.

Dartford apparently were impressive in beating Wealdstone 2-1.

Weymouth beat Havant 3-1.

If a friendly away to Chalvey Sport was organised, would an attendance of up to 600 be permitted? And would this be an opportunity to trial run a socially distanced fan attended match at Arbour Park?
