I see that Hillingdon Borough played only their second league game of the season on Saturday (3 October), losing 3-0 at Langford following the opening day 3-0 home defeat to St Panteleimon which was played behind closed doors. They travel to Winslow United on Saturday (10 October) to Enfield Borough on 17 October and to Amersham Town on 24 October but then are due to host Bedford on Tuesday 27 October, are fans likely to be allowed into the Middlesex Stadium by then.

Did they get any supporters before banning supporters anyway? ?

Hillingdon Borough plied their trade at the Leas Stadium (see link) at that time, not moving to their current home, the Middlesex Stadium, until 1990 following some turbulent years in their history:

Who remembers the old Leas Stadium, those were the days weren't they:

Put that ground with Church road Hayes fc, Western road Southall fc, and Hounslows old ground Denbigh road ? And you have 4 classic non league grounds lost for ever. Shameful.

Savagebee - This should interest you and you might even have been in attendance at the Middlesex Stadium, an early 2013/14 SSML Premier Division fixture between Hillingdon Borough and Hanwell Town on Tuesday 13 August 2013 which Hanwell Town won 4-1:

I don't think I was at that game so thanks for that Rhodes.

Step 7 Jim - Here's an interesting article about that Second Round tie you mention at the Leas Stadium with Watford and it was a close affair with Watford only getting the winning goal near the end just as it was about to go to a Vicarage Road replay. I had forgotten about the amazing FA Cup runs the Club used to have, they got to the Third Round in 1969/70 losing to Sutton United after a replay who then went on to draw Leeds, then in 1978/79 they lost at Swansea in the First Round at the old Vetch Field:

Savagebee - I couldn't have put it better myself, there are some nice memories of various games attended at the Leas Stadium on another Forum and an interesting thread about Hillingdon Borough back in the day. I wonder if the Club have the most fascinating history of any non league Club in the Country with all their trials and tribulations over the years, people forget that they were originally formed in 1872 as Yiewsley FC and were only renamed as Hillingdon Borough in 1964, largely due to the formation that year of the London Borough of Hillingdon so it was decided the Club should 'fall in line':

My first match on 24 April was also a new ground for me:
1982: Hillingdon Borough 0 - 2 Hastings United Southern League Att: 191
In fact this was my only visit to the large but slightly cumbling Leas Stadium in Yiewsley. I remember sitting in the main stand but venturing to the tea hut (which in my memory was behind the goal to the left) when I saw somebody before kick-off brandishing a pie. "All sold" said the lady "I only had four as that's how many I usually sell, but there's a big crowd here today". Hastings were going well in the league and their supporters had boosted the attendance I guess (although Leo H seems to have been absent - assuming I have the right date recorded for this fixture). The away win was quite comfortable I seem to recall.

1977: Hillingdon B. 1 Chelmsford C. 1, my only visit to the Leas, remember being impressed with the stadium - Bobby Kellard and Ken Foggo playing for the visitors,

The Leatherhead Lip - Three of those four grounds are mentioned by someone in a post on another Forum who did an old fashioned 'treble' on 2 January 1978, however the list of lost grounds is sadly endless, not only those four you welcomingly touch on:

On 2 January 1978 (yes, 40 years ago), I walked from my parents home in Yiewsley to Western Road, Southall (1-2 v Hendon, Middx Charity Cup SF), thence to Church Road, Hayes (3-2 v Tilbury, Isthmian League) and finally to the Leas Stadium, Hillingdon Borough (1-2 v Atherstone Town, Southern League) - completing the evening with the 8 minute walk by to my parents home.

I used the canal towpath, so it was not more than about 6 miles walking all told.
Only Southall was a new ground.

Again after the Lord Mayors Show but photographs and match report from a 2007/2008 Southern League Division One South & West fixture between Slough Town and Hillingdon Borough, at Holloways Park on Tuesday 27 November 2007, resulting in a 3-1 win for Hillingdon Borough who transferred to the Isthmian League Division One North at the end of that campaign. Mark Kirby, Warren Waugh and Max Howell netted in what was a comfortable win against a struggling Slough Town outfit who finished second to bottom that season but were reprieved from relegation:

The Leas was the first ground I ever went to, back in 1977 (I lived 15 minute walk from the ground). Biggest game I saw was an FA Cup game against Watford, and it was packed!

It was paradise wasn't it, like all the old grounds that have sadly succumbed to the unscrupulous developers:

Hillingdon Borough met Woodford Town in the 2015/16 Middlesex FA Premier Cup Final, losing an absolute thriller 4-3 at Grosvenor Vale on Wednesday 27 April 2016. Both Club's were in the SSML Division One that season, which Edgware Town won by ten points, however Woodford Town left the SSML at the end of that campaign, they had won both League meetings with Hillingdon Borough, 2-0 at the Middlesex Stadium and 1-0 at their then Terence McMillan stadium home, as well as a 2-1 Challenge Trophy Second Round success at Breakspear Road so the players were sick of the sight of each other:
