Not recent however we never saw this fascinating interview with Mr McCormack from the United States with Brady Swenson, the creator and host of the Citizen Bitcoin Podcast

Live at Pacific Bitcoin Festival 2023, Brady Swenson hosts a fireside chat with Peter McCormack, host of the What Bitcoin Did Podcast. They chat about using the Bitcoin cheat code for your business, the state of Bitcoin adoption in the developing world and in places with hyperinflation, the support of the greater Bitcoin community and the ongoing Craig Wright lawsuit.

Let's get ready to rumble then for tomorrow's Southern League Division One Central fixture, and possible Championship decider, with Kings Langley which will be live streamed. Amazingly there are match tickets still available (see link) with free merchandise and pizza available and 'a who's who' of high profile attendees to rub shoulders with from around the globe including the Club's co-owners Cameron and Tyler Winkelvoss, what an incredible day in prospect:

Again, roughly an hour before kick off at the Ledger Stadium this afternoon and Real Bedford's co-owners Cameron and Tyler Winkelvoss, make their 'distinguished' entrance, 'Lords of All They Survey':

Following this afternoon's extravaganza at the Ledger Stadium between Real Bedford and Kings Langley, where Rob Sinclair's men currently lead 1-0, Real Bedford Ladies will take centre stage tomorrow (Sunday 13 April) when they take on lowly London Seaward Ladies, an expected win will see them lift the Women's FA National League Division One South East Championship trophy and gain promotion to the Southern Premier Division:

Following the 1-0 victory this afternoon (Saturday 12 April) over Kings Langley, Real Bedford are Southern League Division One Central Champions, the Club's third successive promotion, from Step Six to Step Three level, quite incredible:

A good weekend for both Real Bedford Men and Real Bedford Ladies with the Men winning 3-0 at Hertford Town on Saturday in a Southern League Division One Central encounter and the Ladies winning 5-1 at Moneyfields Ladies yesterday in an FA Women's National League Cup Second Round tie to reach the Quarter Finals of the competition, a small consolation for prematurely exiting the Women's FA Cup last week. A reminder that this afternoon's Women's FA National League Division One South East fixture between Real Bedford Ladies and London Seaward Ladies at the Ledger Stadium will be live streamed for those unable to attend in person to watch the Ladies win the Championship, as was the case with the Men's team yesterday:

An interesting team sheet from the last time I believe (Cruz will confirm) Bedford United entertained Bedford Town, at the Fairhill Recreation Ground in Clapham Road in 1992/93, in a South Midlands League Division One fixture. Bedford Town were promoted to the Premier Division that season as Champions and, in turn, were promoted as Champions the following 1993/94 season to the Isthmian League Division Three, again winning promotion by finishing third in 1994/95:

I was at that one. Some good players in those line-ups. When the 2 clubs had a friendly rivalry but were fiercely protective of their own independence. Seem like glorious days looking back. Went to all 4 Town/United derbies between 1991 and 1993. Used to sell programmes at Allen Park for Bedford Town back in those days.

Well what can you say, Real Bedford Ladies win 11-1 this afternoon against beleaguered London Seaward Ladies and lift the Women's FA National League Division One South East Championship going through the entire League season unbeaten, truly incredible.

LondonEagle - That's amazing, I wonder whether Cruz was there too. As you know Bedford Town joined the South Midlands Lague Division One in 1991/92 affer their 're-formation', for want of a better word, having sadly been 'out of the picture' for some ten years, since leaving the Southern League Midlands Division at the end of the 1981/82 campaign. In 1991/92 Town and United finished fourth and third respectively and the following 1992/93 season, first and third respectivley, Bedford United should have really been awarded, or given the opportunity for promotion, for finishing third for those two successive seasons.

I think Cruz was on the Bedford United committee at the time.

I caught the coach from Bedford along with the players to Potters Bar Crusaders for the first game back for the reformed Eagles on August 17th, 1991. South Midlands League Division One. The top 4 from memory at the end of that season were Ashcroft, Luton Old Boys, Bedford United and Bedford Town

Main thing was the greet friendships formed thst season, many of which are still going now and whatever happens next season, I'm sure many of those bonds will never be broken.

You have to hand it to the local press in Bedford, particularly the Bedford Independent, for their coverage and support of Real Bedford, see their three separate and extensive reports on the hugely successful CheatCode Conference, Real Bedford Men's team's 1-0 win over Kings Langley on Saturday to secure the Southern League Division One Central Championship and Real Bedford Ladies team's incredible 11-1 win over London Seaward Ladies yesterday to, in turn, secure the Women's FA National League Division One South East Championship. What a weekend, not only for the Football Club but for the town of Bedford following on, hot on the heels, from the incredible news only last week that the proposed Bedfordshire Universal Theme Park has been approved by Government and is planned to open in 2031 on the former Kempston Hardwick brickworks that sits near the A6 and the A421, between Stewartby to the south, Wootton to the west and Kempston to the north of the town, literally the perfect, and heaven made, central location for the entire Country let alone Bedford:

Will Bedford Town be promoted if they win the title? Will they be allowed in the play-offs in 2 weeks time if they don't win the title?

Will Bedford Town exist in 2 weeks time? Anyone's guess!

Ex SSML sides Risborough and Wembley look like it will go down to the last day for a relegation spot. Excitement I’m sure both could do without. Ex SSML Amersham look set to miss out on automatic but you’d fancy them in playoffs, but I really don’t see why they would want to go to step 4.
