Disappointing news, this afternoon's New Year's Day Southern League Division One Central fixture with Stotfold at the Ledger Stadium has been postponed due to the weather conditions.

𝑮𝑨𝑴𝑬 𝑶𝑭𝑭 - Following several hours of rain, the referee has inspected the pitch and decided to call off the game. Ticket holders will receive refunds, and the match will be rescheduled shortly.

The draw for the Beds Senior Cup semis been made and if Bedford Town had not thrown away a 2-goal lead at Barton Rovers, the Bedford derby in the final at Kenilworth Road would have been on course.
Biggleswade FC or Crawley Green v Barton Rovers
Real Bedford will play AfC Dunstable, but not sure if it's home or away

Confirmation that Real Bedford will travel to Creasey Park on Tuesday 4 February for the eagerly awaited Bedfordshire FA Senior Cup Semi Final tie with AFC Dunstable. Crawley Green host Biggleswade FC next Tuesday (7 January) in their delayed Quarter Final tie for the right to play Barton Rovers in the other Semi Final so the prestige trophy is certainly there for the winning for Rob Sinclair's men having already beaten all the remaining sides this season and Crawley Green twice last season in the SSML:

Let's hope there are no problems at Eynsham Park in rural Oxfordshire on Saturday (4 January) for what should be a routine three points against rock bottom of the table North Leigh:

Disappointing news folks, the fixture at North Leigh has been postponed 😪

After a pitch inspection at North Leigh, their pitch is frozen and our fixture has been postponed. The game will be rescheduled soon.

Here is Mr McCormack 'rubbing shoulders' with the great and the good once again on his amazing Podcast, wait for it, George Galloway, I wonder who will be next, Nigel Farage, Elon Musk or Donald Trump perhaps:

George Galloway is a British politician, broadcaster, and author renowned for his decades-long career as a champion of working-class politics and his fierce critiques of Western foreign policy and neoliberalism. In this interview, George delivers a powerful critique of the Labour Party’s transformation from a working-class movement to a middle-class elite institution. Drawing on his unique experiences in politics and broadcasting, Galloway discusses the erosion of Labour’s connection to the British working class, the Californication of its policies, and the broader state of the left in the UK. This wide-ranging conversation dives into Labour’s ideological identity crisis, the rise of populism, and the systemic failures of Britain’s political class, offering insights that challenge both the left and the right. 00:00:00 - Introduction 00:01:10 - Disillusionment with Politics 00:03:25 - Decline of Political Leadership 00:07:52 - Media Blackout on Outsiders 00:09:44 - State of the Left in the UK 00:11:50 - Disconnect from Working Class 00:14:27 - Populism Demonised 00:25:00 - Labour's Forgotten Working Class 00:30:00 - Californication of Labour 00:39:03 - Death of Manufacturing 00:48:36 - Fairness for Workers 00:53:11 - Governance by the Lowest Among Us 00:57:39 - Role of the Private Sector 01:05:00 - Empathy for Palestinians 01:10:29 - State Capture by Israel Lobby 01:23:02 - Genocide Debate and Gaza 01:26:09 - Growing Support for Palestine 01:28:01 - George Galloway’s Current Role.
