Real Bedford Ladies travel to Essex to take on Hashtag United Ladies on Sunday (1 December) in the Quarter Finals of the Women's FA National League Cup, the hosts are currently joint leaders of the Women's National League Southern Premier Division, a tier above Real Bedford Ladies, so clearly it will be a difficult assignment

Real Bedford Ladies graphic for Sunday's Women's FA National League Cup Quarter Final tie at high flying Women's National League Southern Premier Division Hashtag United Ladies who are infact holders of the trophy that they won last season, beating Newcastle United Ladies 2-1 in an exciting Final played at Kenilworth Road in front of an attendance of 3,719. I have it on good authority that this season's Final will be played at Walsall's Bescot Stadium towards the end of March next year however obviously it remains to be seen whether Real Bedford Ladies will be participating and making the trip to the West Midlands:

Let's get ready to rumble, Real Bedford travel to Northwood on Saturday (30 November) in their latest Southern League Division One Central fixture:

No problems for Real Bedford yesterday afternoon at leafy Chestnut Avenue who did the job in the first period, having lead 3-0 at the break with clinical strikes from Ben Stevens, Tom Hitchcock and Josh Setchell, see both Club's match reports, local press coverage and the match programme:

The match programme for this afternoon's Women's FA National League Cup Quarter Final tie at Hashtag United Ladies however, unfortunately, Real Bedford Ladies are already 2-0 behind after just fifteen minutes, it was always going to be a very difficult assignment:

It wasn't to be then for Real Bedford Ladies in their Women's FA National League Cup Quarter Final tie at Hashtag United, going down 4-0 to their higher lever opponents however boss Charlie Bill will have learned a lot from the tie and will be looking for sweet revenge next season in the Women's FA National League Southern Premier Division should Hashtag United not be promoted this season, see a match report, local press coverage and Charlie's lengthy post match assessment if the link works:

Positively massive game this weekend on the men's side. A proper 6 pointer on the line--thrilled it'll be live streamed against Berkhamstead. And, on a personal note, happy to be back at it. I was abroad for work for a prolonged period of time and haven't been unable to follow as closely as I'd have liked for the last month or so.

RallyInRaleigh - Indeed, and let's hope the wind doesn't get up on Saturday to prevent the livestream, I was at Northwood last Saturday and one of the Club Officials felt that the livestream against Hadley on Saturday 23 November should have gone ahead as the television gantry was perfectly safe. Anyway nice to have you back posting and hope you and the family are keeping well:

Congratulations to the prolific Ben Stevens who has amazingly amassed fifty senior goals for the Club in a short space of time since his arrival from Kempston Rovers at the beginning of last season:

Very disappointing news:

Unfortunately, due to the heavy rain, our pitch is waterlogged, and our match against Berkhamsted has been postponed. Refunds will be issued to those who purchased tickets, and the fixture will be rescheduled soon.

Rally, i think the original reporter was confused.
You only have to get ground up-to-speed the March FOLLOWING PROMOTION. This coming March it has got to get a Step 4 grading (the league they are currently in) and the following March (2026), it would have to get a Step 3 grading and so on - if they are promoted each year, that is.
If it isn't ready by March (I'm sure it will be in RB's case,) not only would a club be denied any promotion I believe, but would be relegated to the league below. I doubt there is any chance of this happening in RB's caxe, just explaining the rules.

LondonEagle/RallyInRaleigh - Regarding ground grading for next season, I see that the FA have issued its National Stadium Accreditation document for 2024/25 detailing the criteria required for promotion to the next level for next season (2025/26). I gather there has been some lowering of some previously pedantic criteria and that a more thorough review is under way in the corridors of power at Wembley Stadium with the FA's intention of launching this for 2025/26 ahead of the 2026/27 campaign when Real Bedford will be in the National League South:

Again not touching on football but an interesting and lengthy recent Podcast with Peter McCormack and well known journalist and outspoken broadcaster Dan Wootton who is regularly critical of celebrities and on Political issues:

Dan Wootton is a British journalist and broadcaster known for his outspoken commentary and coverage of celebrity and Political issues. In this interview we discuss the growing influence of cancel culture, government censorship, and the woke takeover of mainstream media in the UK. Dan reveals insider insights from his time in mainstream media, how independent platforms are reshaping public discourse, and why the fight for free speech is more critical than ever. We also get into why independent media is gaining traction, how cancel culture silences dissent, and the chilling impact of advertising boycotts on journalism. 00:00:00 - Introduction 00:01:18 - The Media Revolution 00:07:03 - Critique of Mainstream Media 00:10:14 - Government Censorship in Media 00:15:26 - Regulatory Challenges at GB News 00:20:00 - Lawrence Fox 00:27:43 - The Rise of Independent Media 00:37:03 - Independent Voices in Politics 00:45:00 - Nigel Farage 00:47:56 - US Media Influence 00:50:00 - JD Vance 00:55:00 - Authentic Politicians in the UK 01:05:31 - Support for Women's Sports 01:08:47 - Transgender Policies in Sports 01:12:27 - LGBTQ Community Dynamics 01:17:32 - Navigating Identity Politics 01:20:46 - Citizen Journalists 01:25:15 - Legacy Media's Decline 01:28:22 - Cultural Shifts in Media 01:35:18 - UK Leadership Challenges 01:40:04 - Building Independent Platforms 01:45:46 - Revolution in UK Politics:

LondonEagle - Yes, the draw has been made now for the Quarter Finals of the Bedfordshire FA Senior Cup, the Leighton Town v Real Bedford tie is scheduled for Tuesday 10 December with Bedford Town's simple looking tie at Barton Rovers a week later, talk about the luck of the draw:

Crawley Green v Biggleswade FC
Leighton Town v Real Bedford
Barton Rovers v Bedford Town

Let's get ready to rumble folks for this evening's exciting Bedfordshire FA Senior Cup Quarter Final tie between Leighton Town and Real Bedford, there doesn't appear to be any problems at Bell Close following the recent storm, see the match programme:

Should Rob Sinclair's men be victorious this evening at Bell Close then surely Bedford Town will take care of Barton Rovers in their Quarter Final tie at Sharpenhoe Road, also this evening, what are the chances of a Real Bedford v Bedford Town Semi Final tie, either at the Ledger Stadium or The Eyrie:

What a win for Real Bedford yesterday evening at Bell Close but what on earth happened to Bedford Town, embarrassingly losing 3-2 at lowly Southern League Division One Central Barton Rovers, no wonder LondonEagle is conspicuous by his absence and what a disappointing missed opportunity for Real Bedford and Bedford Town to meet competitively:

RallyInRaleigh - It's 'criminal' isn't it', LondonEagle must be so embarrassed by last night's result at Sharpenhoe Road, and having been 2-0 ahead at half time, and little wonder he is as quiet as mouse, also Bedford Town only just managed to beat rock bottom of the table Biggleswade Town last Saturday at The Eyrie. Anyway you, and we, won't have that long to wait for the match between Real Bedford and Bedford Town, two matches infact next season in the Southern League Premier Division Central:
