Bedford has a history of the late penalty and a failure to capitalize. Still, a point in the bag and on we go. No major injuries and a lead at the top. Long season but definitely felt like they left 2 points on the field last night.

RallyInRaleigh - Yes, it was a superbly struck penalty to be fair from Tom Hitchcock but a great save from the Leighton Town goalkeeper Connor Hunt, see highlights from the live stream:

Rob Sinclair and his men will be kicking, sorry, toe punting their heels tomorrow (Saturday) with no Southern League Division One Central fixture scheduled however the Ladies team host Dulwich Hamlet Ladies on Sunday afternoon and the tricky looking FA Women's National League Division One South East fixture will, thankfully, be live streamed. The South London side sit eighth in the table having won four matches so far this season, albeit also losing four and drawing one, they reached the Women's FA Cup First Round, only losing recently at higher level Lewes FC Ladies on penalties so they will not be taken lightly by boss Charlie Bill:.

Just a reminder, not that you will need it, of the Club shirts currently available for purchase that would do Premier League Club's proud, they are literally being given away at £55 each compared to the 'criminal' prices Premier Division Club's charge for their shirts that are well over £100:

A nice graphic from Dulwich Hamlet Ladies, and two very informative match previews by the south London Club, ahead of tomorrow's FA Women's National League Division One South East fixture at the Ledger Stadium:

Congratulations to the prolific Joey Evans who has incredibly amassed fifty senior goals for the Club in such a short space of time since his arrival from Moulton FC at the beginning of last season:

No difficulties for Real Bedford Ladies this afternoon against Dulwich Hamlet Ladies at the Ledger Stadium in a 3-0 win, Actonians Ladies triumphed over Ashford Town (Middx) Ladies to remain top of the tree, having played a game more, however Norwich City Ladies lost again, 2-1 at Queens Park Rangers Ladies, and have fallen to fifth place in the table:

Good news that Saturday's eagerly awaited Southern League Division One Central top of the table clash with Hadley at the Ledger Stadium will be live streamed. For those lucky enough to be attending the fixture in person there is a special Real Bedford and Bedfordshire Independent newspaper Business Brunch at noon costing just £20 which includes a match ticket, normally £10, giving the opportunity to rub shoulders with the great and the good at the Club as well as the very supportive local newspaper:

The big one on Sunday (24 November) then at the Middlesex FA's plush Rectory Park complex in West London, kick off 2.00pm, hold onto your hats as it's bound to be eventful:

Bulletin folks, there was some doubt that this afternoon's all important fixture with Hadley at the Ledger Stadium would go ahead, due to the inclement weather, however the hallowed turf has passed an 11.30am inspection with flying colours so 'it's all systems go' however the bad news is that the game will disappointingly no longer be live streamed:

Unfortunately due to high winds in Bedford, we are unable to Stream today’s match. However, we will have live commentary (Spaces) on X for the whole match, starting at 3:00!

It's incredible isn't it what the Club, and Mr McCormack in-particular, come up with, I have it on good authority that it was a hugely successful and well attended business lunch this afternoon prior to the action on the field of play between Real Bedford and Hadley, I expect there will be some 'well oiled' spectators:

A disappointing scoreline last night at the Ledger Stadium against a 'dogged' Leighton Town side and a late penalty miss by Tom Hitchcock, see local press coverage:

It was a 'dogfight' at the Ledger Stadium on Saturday afternoon against a good Hadley side and, on the whole, a fair result according to boss Rob Sinclair's summing up if the link works:

What a win for Real Bedford Ladies yesterday afternoon at Rectory Park against top of the table Actonians Ladies, see match reports and boss Charlie Bill's summing up of the proceedings if the link works:

LondonEagle has been as quiet as a dor, sorry, field mouse lately hasn't he and it's hardly surprising due to Bedford Town's recent form and results and dropping like a stone to ninth in the Southern League Premier Division Central table, you have to wonder how long Lee Bircham will remain at the Eyrie with his track record of leaving Club's high and dry and in the lurch when things don't go their way, such as Leighton Town in particular. Admittedly it was a good point at top of the table Kettering Town earlier this month, in a 2-2 draw, however it made the Alamo look tame and Kettering could and should have run out easy winners with Bedford Town's Carl Mensah equalising with literally the last kick of the game. Coincidentally Kettering visit the Eyrie this Saturday (30 November) for the return fixture with Bedford Town followed by a difficult visit to high flying Stourbridge a week later:

Tuesday 15 October - Banbury 2 Bedford Town 0

Saturday 19 October - Bedford Town 1 Barwell 3

Saturday 2 November - Bromsgrove Sporting 0 Bedford Town 3

Saturday 2 November - Bedford Town 0 St Ives Town 3

Saturday 16 November - Kettering 2 Bedford Town 2

Saturday 23 November - Alvechuch 1 Bedford Town 0

Real Bedford Ladies travel to Essex to take on Hashtag United Ladies on Sunday (1 December) in the Quarter Finals of the Women's FA National League Cup, the hosts are currently joint leaders of the Women's National League Southern Premier Division, a tier above Real Bedford Ladies, so clearly it will be a difficult assignment:

Northwood's graphic for tomorrow's fixture at their Skyline Roofing Stadium home, the Club certainly haven't been pulling up trees this season and sit in fourth from bottom place in the Southern League Division One Central table so it's a heaven made opportunity for Rob Sinclair's men to take all three points:
