A fond farewell to player Tom Wood (pictured) who has served the Club so brilliantly since the 2022/23 season, helping to earn back to back promotions as well as winning Bedfordshire FA Senior Trophy and SSML Premier Division Cup winners medals whilst serving under a hugely appreciative Rob Sinclair. Tom spent most of his football career at St Neots Town but also had spells at Peterborough United as a youngster, Tilbury, Cambridge City and St Ives Town prior to arriving at McMullen Park:

Magical Game. Magical Pirates.

Hi Cruz - You mean last night with the Ladies 3-0 win over Milton Keynes Dons Ladies in the FA Women's National League Cup Preliminary Round in front of an amazing attendance of 342, see match reports and highlights from the live stream. Yes, it was a great performance with of course many former Milton Keynes Dons Ladies players in the side, I wonder whether two of the scorers, Laura Mitchell and Hannah Warren, did a Dennis Law for Manchester City at Old Trafford in April 1974 😉. I hope you are keeping well in Bolivia, I heard you, not you personally, discovered a huge natural gas field last month which will keep the wolf from the beleaguered Country's door for a while:

Real Bedford Ladies are one of 48 Women's National League Division One Club's exempt until the Third Qualifying Round stage of the prestigious Adobe Women's FA Cup this season which will take place on Sunday 13 October following the completion of the First and Second Qualifying Rounds. That third goal was out of this world. Awesome to see the crowd on stream--was up there with any mens game, no doubt. Can't wait to see who we square up with next. Still buzzing from that one. First half I thought we had the worse of it and was thrilled to see us strike early in the second to take the edge off.

RallyInRaleigh - I really think the Ladies team can achieve something special this season with the high quality squad of players new boss Charlie Bill has at his disposal, Sunday's (1 September) FA Women's National League Division One South East fixture at Queens Park Rangers will be amazing as it is being played at the Loftus Road stadium, unfortunately though I don't believe there is going to be a live stream:

Disappointingly no fixture for Rob Sinclair's men this weekend or during this coming midweek however next Saturday, 7 September, Real Bedford travel to Isthmian League North Division Walthamstow for an eagely awaited FA Trophy First Qualifying Round tie. Bedford Town however enter the FA Cup this afternoon at the First Qualifying Round stage and travel the short distance to fellow Southern League Premier Division Royston Town, appallingly the Club haven't been past the Second Qualifying Round stage of the competition since 2009/10 taking into account their FA Cup pedigree:

Let's get ready to rumble then, apparently no match tickets are available on the day tomorrow so they will need to be purchased in advance on-line, see above link:

A 2-0 win for Real Bedford Ladies on the hallowed Loftus Road turf against a quality Queens Park Rangers Ladies side yesterday afternoon with late second half goals from Laura Mitchell and substitute Alexandra Dicks, see both Club's match reports:

It would appear that the next livestream will be Real Bedford Ladies FA Women's National League Division One South East fixture next Sunday (8 September) and not the FA Trophy First Qualifying Round tie at Isthmian League North Division Walthamstow on Saturday (7 September). The livestreams are somewhat disappointingly hit and miss so far this season however hopefully Mr McCormack can use his unique and diplomatic powers of persuation to talk the various 'blazers' and 'jobsworths' at the Football Association (FA) and Club's round:

I think the stated goal this season is to cover every home match for both the men and womens squads and totally miss the road tilts. Unfortunately, the expense and hassle of the road contests became too much to cover. Perhaps they'll go the extra mile to make it work on the finishing kick of a season if promotion is a possibility. I definitely feel a little less connected with the mens team as s a result but I have to say it has been a lot of fun to engage more with the women's team, at large. The match at QPR made the bigger objectives of both clubs feel a lot more real.

Went to the game today. Good win for Real. Very good game for a tenner. Winning goal was brilliant.

Devastating news coming out of Bedford Town, football not that important in these circumstances. Star striker Leon Lobjoit's new-born daughter has tragically passed away. Just terrible.

Yes, devastating news, everyone's thoughts are with Leon Lobjoit and his family at this very difficult time.

An interesting home draw for Real Bedford against Leighton Town in the Second Qualifying Round of the prestigious FA Trophy following the very impressive 2-1 win at Walthamstow on Saturday, see both sides of the story and high quality highlights, courtesy of the home Club:
