Can Rob Sinclair's men reach the SSML Premier Division Cup Final by beating Tring Athletic at McMullen Park this afternoon although I'm sure, if given the choice, Rob would much prefer to win next Saturday's League fixture with Tring Athletic, also at McMullen Park. Just to say it was sad to hear the news recently of the death of former Bedford Town player Mick Collins who made over 200 appearances for the Club between 1963 and 1967, many as Captain. RIP Mick:

The games are coming thick and fast now with hopefully the worst of the unprecedented weather this season behind us now, FC Romania visit McMullen Park this evening and there will thankfully be a live stream. Here we go folks but it doesn't make very pleasant watching especially in the first half with Haringey Borough Ladies leading 4-0 at the interval, hopefully the Ladies can get back to winning ways next Sunday against Bowers & Pitsea Ladies at McMullen Park:

Cruz - Can you spot Mick in this nice team photograph of Luton Town prior to him joining Bedford Town via a brief stint at Chelmsford City, it's strange as he only made ten senior appearances for Luton in the seven seasons he was at Kenilworth Road:

Hi Rhodes. I believe Mick Collins is standing in the middle row on the far left? One other point I have heard rumours that Wellingborough Town have failed the ground grading as their changing rooms are too small despite Rushden @ Diamonds using the ground several years ago, both teams were hoping to use the Dog and Duck next season and play in the Southern League Div 1 Central next season. Here is the programme for tomorrow (Friday 12 April), on Saturday delegates and everyone else will all adjourn mid morning to McMullen Park when I'm assuming a coach or mini buses will be laid on from the Conference centre, I know that Mr McCormack has left no stone unturned with the arrangements.
