No difficulties yesterday for Real Bedford Ladies with a 3-1 win over Needham Market Ladies, see a match report, their lead at the summit of the Eastern Region Women's League Premier Division is extended to thirteen points with a game in hand following Royston Town Ladies surprise 1-1 draw with Barking Ladies at Garden Walk:

Another match report from Real Bedford Ladies 3-1 win over Needham Market Ladies on Sunday 4 February in an Eastern Region Women's League Premier Division fixture that day. This Sunday (25 February) the all conquering Ladies try again against Wootton Blue Cross Lionesses Reserves in their Bedfordshire FA Women's County Cup Quarter Final tie following last week's frustrating postponement which has scuppered the scheduled League fixture:

Does the shock SSML Challenge Trophy Third Round result on Tuesday evening at the John Clement Memorial Ground rank with the likes of Walsall v Arsenal in 1933, Yeovil Town v Sunderland in 1949, Hereford Utd v Newcastle Utd in 1972, Bournemouth v Manchester United in 1984, Sutton United v Coventry City in 1989 and more recently Ipswich Town v Maidstone United a few weeks ago

Check this out folks, SSML Division Two Codicote's dressing room celebrations following their huge SSML Challenge Trophy shock last Tuesday evening, how can you begrudge the Club's 'day in the sun and 'fifteen, sorry, ninety minutes of fame':

Disappointing news that, following an early inspection by, presumably, a local Referee, this afternoon's scheduled fixture at McMullen Park against FC Romania has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch 😒:

Real Bedford Ladies Bedfordshire FA Women's County Cup Quarter Final tie with Wootton Blue Cross Lionesses Reserves at McMullen Park went ahead yesterday at Kempston Rovers ground due to McMullen Park still being waterlogged however the visitors must have wished that it hadn't. Hat tricks from Natasha Fensome, Gemma Croucher and Francesca Partridge, braces from Erin Price and Sophie Billing and single goals from Lisa Milliken, Lisa Milliken, Chloe Martin and Lauren Coppin completed the 17-1 rout with the Ladies having no pity for their opponents, see a match report:

I think 31 March is the deadline for clubs to pass ground grading for promotion.

Rhodes, I assume McMullen Park in its current state would be unlikely to pass Step 4 grading for promotion?

London Eagle - I am not sure why you suddenly ask that question, I thought that Mr McCormack had already made it clear that there will be no problems next season at Step 4 level and that he is already looking to 2025/26 at Step 3, be it at McMullen Park or elsewhere. By the way I expect you are starting to sweat buckets again with Biggleswade Town just three points behind Bedford Town in the Southern League Division One Central following recent draws with Cirencester Town, lowly Kidlington and the shocking 2-1 defeat at bottom of the table Kempston Rovers, you must be thankful that the next two fixtures are at home to Kempston Rovers and Thame United, the two bottom sides.

Check this out folks, some of the Real Bedford Minneapolis Supporters Club, that's Minneapolis as in America, the United States, I wonder how many fans Bedford Town have in America, if any:

Team continues to live dangerously, doesn't it? A thrilling 3 points in the end but i'd have expected more at home, up a man for 60+ minutes.

I imagine Bedford Town are quite happy having double the number of local fans as Real Bedford.

RallyInRaleigh - Yes but the main thing is that it was three precious points for Rob Sinclair's men against a good Harpenden Town side who led until shortly before the interval, see highlights from the live stream, a match report and local press coverage. I expect everyone at Milton Keynes Irish were wearing green and yellow scarves on Tuesday evening:

RallyInRaleigh - How do you see tomorrow's fixture with London Lions going at McMullen Park, it won't be a walk in the park will it, thankfully the game will be live streamed to overseas fans. I see that Bedford Town are also at home tomorrow to Thame United, that doesn't happen very often:

Yes, so is the game at McMullen Park following a pitch inspection, it's frustrating isn't it:

Today's match against London Lions will not take place due to unfit pitch conditions at McMullen Park.

Here's a surprise folks, Real Bedford Ladies Eastern Region Women's League Cup Semi Final with Luton Town Ladies was postponed yesterday and they try again next Sunday (10 March) which has frustratingly scuppered the scheduled League fixture with promotion being the Ladies priority this season rather than distracting cup competitions. The other Semi Final tie between Wroxham FC Ladies and Stevenage Ladies was also postponed yesterday.

Let's hope there are no problems at Creasey Park tomorrow evening for the tricky looking Premier Division fixture with Dunstable Town despite the 6-1 win there recently in the SSML Premier Division Cup Second Round:
