RallyIn Raleigh - Yes, it's quite surprising that the tie is still going ahead, I see that Bedford Town's Southern League Division One Central fixture with Kempston Rovers has been called off that was due to take place at The Eyrie this evening. It's a shame that Cup ties are still not being live streamed by the Club isn't it:

Huge bummer not to have the livesteam. Feels like it has been exceptionally difficult to watch the team this season. That said, I'll take the win. Will be back in cup action in the premier cup before we know it.

Yes, a good win last night, albeit a narrow one, against a dogged Cockfosters side who wouldn't lay down, it will be interesting to see the draw for the Third Round of the competition, Codicote at home would be nice following their Second Round win last night 😉

Real Bedford Ladies finally resume their Eastern Region Women's League Premier Division campaign on Sunday (7 January) against St Albans City Ladies at Clarence Park, kick off 2.00pm

Unfortunately the Ladies Eastern Region Women's League Premier Division fixture against St Albans City Ladies at Clarence Park was called off last Sunday. This Sunday (14 January) it is 'D Day' for the Ladies as they visit Haringey Borough Ladies who are now just seven points behind in the table following their 4-1 win at AFC Dunstable last Sunday albeit they have played a game more, the fixture will definitely go ahead as Haringey Borough boast a state of the art 3g playing surface:

May be a graphic of text that says "FULL-TIME 2-1"

Hoping this is the last time those two square off this season. They've given us all we could handle every time out. Kudos to them and on to the next!

RallyInRaleigh - Yes, indeed, even back in August, in only the second League game of the season, Cockfosters gave Rob Sinclair's men a difficult time at their Chalk Lane home in a 1-1 draw however what's the betting that they meet in the Premier Division Cup Third Round if Real Bedford beat Dunstable Town next Tuesday and Cockfosters beat Harpenden Town on 30 January in the Second Round of the competition. What do you think the chances are of Real Bedford doing an 'unprecedented' domestic treble this season, lifting the Premier Division Championship, the Challenge Trophy and Premier Division Cup, I think only Edgware Town, in season 2006/07, have done that previously and 'swept the board'.

Thankfully it appears that there are no problems with the live stream for tomorrow's afternoon League fixture at St Panteleimon with their 'landlords' Potters Bar Town agreeing to it:

Can't wait. Should be a great one!

RallyInRaleigh - I take it you, Cruz and all the other overseas fans enjoyed the game yesterday with St Panteleimon, an excellent 4-0 victory with goals from Archie Joseph Jones, who else, Joey Evans, Ben Stevens and a penalty from 'Captain Fantastic' Luke Knight:

Good luck to Real Bedford Ladies this afternoon at Haringey Borough Ladies who shouldn't be taken lightly, they sit in second place having lost only two League games all season, at Wroxham FC Ladies and Luton Town Ladies, and are unbeaten at their Coles Park base that boasts a 3g playing surface:

Check out this brief but fascinating recent insight into the Club entitled 'Innovative & Dynamic' which is a huge undersatatement isn't it, in the video the American host is quoted as saying 'Real Bedford has a ton of heart, an owner that deeply cares and he knows what it's like to be an under dog in many ways', it says it all about Mr McCormack doesn't it:

There is a 3.00pm pitch inspection at Creasey Park to deem whether this evening's SSML Premier Division Cup Second Round tie will go ahead, I understand that it is not looking too hopeful:

Yes, unfortunately Real Bedford's SSML Premier Division Cup Second Round tie this evening has been postponed due to a frozen pitch at Dunstable Town's Creasey Park.

Coincidentally Dunstable Town visit McMullen Park tomorrow (Saturday 20 January) for a SSML Premier Division fixture, following the disappointing postponement of the SSML Premier Division Cup tie at Creasey Park on Tuesday, and there is no difficulty, or opposition, to the live stream for overseas fans:

Not Real Bedford related but an interesting Northamptonshire Football Podcast interview with Leon Lobjoit who has recently linked up again with Lee Bircham at Bedford Town, as well as being dual registerred with United Counties League Premier Division South Daventry Town. I wonder what LondonEagle thinks of Leon's signing at The Eyrie, he has been conspicuous by his absence on here lately with Bedford Town's poor run of form of late and losing the lead in the Southern League Division One Central to North Leigh:

Real Bedford Ladies make the trip to Norfolk on Sunday (21 January) to take on Kings Lynn Town Ladies who were beaten 13-0 at McMullen Park in an Eastern Region Women's League Premier Division fixture back in October with a variety of goalscorers including a clinical hat trick from Gemma Croucher and braces from Natasha Fensome, Chloe Martin, Francesca Partridge and Neve Mayes:
