UP NEXT - The Pirates are back at McMullen Park to face AFC Dunstable this Saturday in another pre-season friendly. Adults £5, Conc £3, U19 Free, McMullen Park, Bedford, KO 15.00 BST. Pre-season games are not being streamed however you can catch every league game live on the Real Bedford website from the 1 August.

A disappointing 4-0 defeat for Real Bedford at McMullen Park against Southern League Division One Central AFC Dunstable on Saturday.

Well after the Lord Mayor's Show however I have unearthed some highlights from this pre-season friendly fixture at McMullen Park against AFC Dunstable on Saturday 22 July:

Good news folks, tomorrow's eagerly awaited League fixture with Crawley Green at McMullen Park will be live streamed, the first live stream for some time. There will be a Bitcoin meet up prior to the action starting at 12.00 I believe and a groundhopper special price of, wait for it, £12.00 which includes entrance to the game, a match programme, an enamel Club badge, a hot drink and admission to the Bitcoin meetup if you wish to arrive early and sample the hospitality on offer and build up to the encounter with a Crawley Green side not enjoying the best of campaigns under their experienced Manager Paul Blackman:

I must admit I was not expecting the Shefford match to be streamed,  a belated Christmas present indeed, I just hope the Pirates win. Thank you Shefford.

Cruz - That's right, Shefford Town & Campton can be a bit funny at times however they have come up trumps this time, as I have said before there is no need whatsoever for Club's to refuse Real Bedford's request to live stream a game, it's not so much cutting off their nose to spite their face but something along those lines. It will be interesting to see whether Bedford Town allow the live streams of the two Southern League Division One Central fixtures next season won't it:

Highlights of the live stream, a match report and the match programme from Real Bedford's emphatic 6-0 triumph over a disappointing Crawley Green side at McMullen Park on Saturday (23 December) who never laid a glove on Rob Sinclair's men all afternoon:

I really enjoyed the game last night, being selfish I keep hoping MK Irish will start dropping league points as they are still very much in the title race, I should hate the Pirates to lose in a play off final.

Should Real Bedford continue to be chasing promotion . When are the grounds graded to play at a higher level? How long do clubs have to implement ground improvements?

Cruz - The highlights from last night's live stream are already out so you can enjoy it all over again, also see a match report. I don't think ground grading will be much of a problem for the Club at Step 4 level next season, by 31 March I believe, it could be a little more tricky for the 2025/26 campaign at Step 3 in the Southern League Premier Division Central however I'm sure Mr McCormack will ensure all the i's are dotted and t's crossed:

Currently, and somewhat surprisingly, 1-1 at half time at McMullen Park this afternoon, I take it there is a live stream of the action:

No problems in the end last Saturday at McMullen Park albeit against a dogged and resilient Cockfosters side and another three points for Rob Sinclair's men, see a match report, a groundhoppers report and photographs from his visit and highlights of the live stream:

Apologies for the late notification, disappointingly this afternoon's fixture with Leverstock Green has been postponed due to most of McMullen Park being under water. Hopefully Real Bedford Ladies eagerly awaited return to Eastern Region Women's League Premier Division action tomorrow (7 January) afternoon against St Albans City Ladies at Clarence Park will still go ahead:

We have received confirmation that Real Bedford's Club grounds and pitch are completely flooded and the game will be OFF.

No photo description available.

Not so fast! It's game on tonight. Hoping for a trophy in this competition so let's see how the rubber match goes between these two.
