It's early innings for the race for promotion but it's certainly shaping up to be a two horse race early on.

RallyInRaleigh - You mean between Real Bedford and Milton Keynes Irish 😉. See a report on last night's incredible 5-1 win at Biggleswade United and the livestream from the match courtesy of Biggleswade United, I think, as Cruz suggested earlier, that's why the Club refused permission for Real Bedford's own live stream of the fixture:

Here we go folks, a recent and interesting interview with Peter McCormack on his decision to buy a Football Club, the rest is history isn't it:

Peter McCormack is the current owner and Chairman of 9th tier Football Club Real Bedford FC. Peter took over the Club around 18 months ago with the plan to use the power of Bitcoin to get his home town Club up into the Leagues and towards the Premier League. As well as being a Football Club owner, he is also the creator and host of the very popular podcast around Bitcoin and economics 'What Bitcoin Did'. We speak about the challenges so far, plans for the future and much more in between.

The Ladies already top the Premier Division table by 8 points with a 100% record and welcome Kings Lynn Town Ladies to McMullen Park next Sunday (15 October) who lost 14-0 at Haringey Borough Ladies yesterday. Reports from the weekend to follow.

No disrespect to Kings Lynn Town Ladies however you have to wonder how many it is going to be at McMullen Park on Sunday afternoon don't you:

A preview on the fixture tomorrow with Stansted who won't be pushovers following their hard fought 1-1 draw at Milton Keynes Irish last week, there will definitely be a livestream which has frustratingly been very hit and miss so far this season for one reason or another:

Excellent interview! Thanks for sharing these when you find them.

I totally agree about MK Irish, by the way. Hard to imagine one of those two not hoisting the trophy at seasons ends given the early starts. Last year, while Bedford certainly started strong and won it comfortably, there were several teams in the hunt deep into the season. This one is shaping up to be a bit more lopsided.

RallyInRaleigh - Thanks, it's a shame more overseas fans don't post here other than Cruz and your good self, there could be some interesting debate about the Club who are clearly going places aren't they under the inspirational Peter McCormack and excellent Rob Sinclair who hopefully won't get 'poached' before too long by another Club at a much higher level. I wonder whether Mr McCormack can achieve his aim and ambition for the Club, and the City, and reach the Premier League in 2031/32, there's no reason why not is there 😉

No doubt Macron have been sloppy but it seems incredibly late to be signing kit deals in June and july for a season starting on the 1st August. Most clubs even at that level would have it sorted it out during May at latest probably to be ready for August 1st.

I see that the new kits have finally turned up on the doorstep at McMullen Park and are being worn for the first time at McMullen Park this afternoon against Stansted:

No, apart from not having a stadium or owning any land to build a stadium on that might be fit for the Premier League in 8 years time!

Another excellent weekend all round with Real Bedford winning 2-0 against a dogged Stansted outfit on Saturday at McMullen Park and, then, Real Bedford Ladies beating Kings Lynn Town Ladies, wait for it, 13-0 yesterday in their latest Eastern Region Women´s League Premier Division fixture, also at McMullen Park. The Ladies already top the Premier Division table by 5 points from Haringey Borough Ladies with a 100% record and renew acquaintances with 'fellow' Eastern Region Women´s League Premier Division Stevenage Ladies next Sunday (22 October) in a Women's FA Cup Third Qualifying Round tie who they have already beaten 4-1 at McMullen earlier in the League campaign. Reports from the weekend to follow.

Big (record) crowd for the men, good effort to get that many for a Step 5 game.

LondonEagle - Thanks, yes there was an incredible 471 in attendance, it even beat Bedford Town's attendance against Kings Langley at the Eyrie last week didn't it when the top two in the Southern League Division One Central locked horns:

Yes it was one higher than Bedford T v KL crowd Tuesday, although midweek crowds are always lower.

The Cold End has focussed on the SSML Premier Division in his excellent Blog, you have to agree with him that it is looking like a three horse race with Biggleswade United and FC Romania seemingly not consistent enough to keep up with 'the big three' 😉

Been traveling a lot with the little ones of late so sorry I've been slow to the forums!

Wild scenes with that attendance. 471! Any idea what sparked such a number? Obviously incredible to see the growth. Team continues to play well. This weekends tilt against the Irish will be a big one. I'm hoping for a deep Vase run but it's gonna take a whale of an effort to progress over a side that has really had the upper hand through two matches.

The ladies are making it look comically easy. I'm excited to see what they can make of their own FA Cup run given the standard at their current level.

Kudos Eagle! Town is off to a fantastic start, themselves.
