Slough v Dartford (play-off quarter final)

Recommended Posts

Is it just me who can’t fathom why any genuine supporter would have no interest in watching arguably our biggest game for a decade or more? So it’s not live, nothing can be done about that, but you can still view it live in the comfort of your own home or down the pub with your mates? The mind boggles!

BLM UK: abolish capitalism and de-fund the police. Also, taking a knee is a sign of disrespect to the US national anthem. Do your research next time before commenting.

Seems to me the only research you've been doing is looking desperately for excuses, and that's the reason why we don't get the equality that is the core belief behind BLM. Hundreds of years of people making excuses to avoid having to change anything. We should be standing up against all forms of prejudice and at this time it is BLM that needs support.

I'm proud to be one of the signatories on the equality charter because society can always do more and our club and trust should be at the heart of that.

As for your other points, of course we're going to take steps similar to the professional leagues, no matter what league you're in the fans are still stuck at home and money needs to be made for the clubs. We have to adapt in strange times. When we do go back to watching games, are you going to stay away because of the extra precautions that may be in place because the Premier League might be doing the same thing?

Sad to say Windsor Rebel, but we are not allowed to have our  opinions that go against the propaganda churned out by the main stream media.

Of course you're entitled to your opinions, even if they are grounded in outdated, right-wing attitudes and demonstrate a complete lack of cultural awareness and decency.  But hey, that's just my opinion.

SG I thought the same as you until I looked up when WR said free.

As you know i could of saved £10 after paying to watch Spurs v sheffield utd by going down the pub.

Don.t forget majority of pubs will show premier league game Bournemouth v Southampton kicks of at 2pm on BT Sport on the 19th. So it will have to be a slough supporting pub landlord who might show our game.

Oh dear looks like one of the snowflakes has thrown his toys out of the pram. Never mind, in six months time BLM will be yesterdays news.Let them protest during the summer months as

these  leftie snowflakes wont come out in winter.

Er....getting back to the original thread, what does everyone think of our chances in the game?

I reckon it will be tight - possibly pens - a chance for Jack to redeem himself from the spot!

Both games in the season against Dartford were tight with us staging a miraculous comeback from two goals down at their place and a one goal win at home.

Really for me it's a toss of a coin game so I'll go for a one goal margin or penalties.

Too hard to call really! Is it 100% confirmed no extra time so straight to penalties? Let’s hope every player has been practising hard if that’s true. It’s bound to be a tight maybe even a boring game but just one touch of magic or luck could win it.

BLM has been around since about 2013, and the fight it is based on has been going on for hundreds of years, so it's not going away. It keeps coming back because people like you seem to be desperate to find excuses to ignore it and not help to change our society for the better, which is the fundamental reason behind it. There never seems to be a convenient time or reason to make positive changes to help people who are suffering racism.

For a man who goes around calling people "snowflakes" you seem to be easily offended by people making a simple gesture towards equality.

That's the last I'll say on it.

As for the game, it's so hard to call either way after our two league games. We beat them twice but I don't see that being relevant especially after the long break. Dartford have been one of the form teams since changing the manager so it's going to be a tough challenge so it'll be interesting to see how the break affects that.
