Martin with luck the club will put a link on the official and this site sure Matt or Gary will help us out.

I know Matt does alot for the club but must admit I would only know who he is if he was pointed out to me.

Steve, the truth is that the club is waiting for further communication from the league as to how supporters can access the streaming website. They have promised this ‘by the end of the week’. In the meantime BT Sport are talking to all the host clubs about logistics.

Sorry Holyport, was not having a go at you a nor indeed anyone associated with the club, the fact that the information is leaking out on twitter and no detail has been passed to the club and may not be until the end of the week is frankly shambolic. The blame squarely rests with the National League

Getting a bit worried about this streaming of the game if it's going to be done on Google Chromecast.

Just been reading up a bit about Chromecast and it seems the odd TV has it built in but most don't and to access it you have to have or buy a Dongle that costs around £30 and then download an app to be able to send it from your computer/phone to your TV.

Perhaps some of our tech savvy people can confirm whether this is correct or I'm talking nonsense.

I just don't understand how the National league have got this so wrong.

Non league is based around the community with a lot of fans in the older generation too. Clubs have not been given the opportunity to raise the necessary awareness in the community that their home team is competing for a spot in the National league. Also don't understand why as its a paid service so surely they want to maximise the revenue from it

It has never been about the fans. Absolutely bottom of the list of considerations.

Personally think the whole thing is a disgrace.

Agree with your Martin. As I said previously, this is not how non league should operate with ridiculous card board cut outs and pay per view TV

They are not cardboard, they are polypropylene.

And they won't all be ridiculous as there will be one of me!

Enough of our fans have bought a cutout to make it a worthwhile exercise for the club and if it makes those fans happy to be "in the crowd" or maybe have a departed friend or relative "in the crowd" then I'm happy too.

If you don't like them, then you absolutely have the right not to buy one.

How can it be ridiculous when it’s raising money for the club? Ok you don’t agree with the ‘concept’ but who cares it’s a bit of fun, are you that dull!!! And you’re saying you’d rather not have the option of watching Slough’s biggest match for years?

No i am not dull as you fully know. Put the game on Freeview (similar to Pick Channel 11), and ditch the sad fake fans, its a laughing stock.

if anyone is dull its you.

Ok then prove it, buy a cut out with you in a real grumpy pose that’ll make us all laugh!

I think we all agree that putting this on any tv channel would be the ideal solution. I just can’t believe only people with a Chromecast will be able to watch it, that really would be shooting all your limbs off not just your foot!

Surely clubs are being kept informed about what's going on?

Not really mate. At this stage, other than the behind the scenes logistics, we know about as much as everyone else.

Yesterday we were told details on the URL etc would be released today , no details on price or platform, then I read that interview (complete with quote from Michael Tatterstall!) like everyone else.

It's been a bit of shitshow from the National League from the time they decided it was safe for our players and fans to travel to Weymouth to be honest.
