I like the fact that the last option for what you would like to see in the development is a "proper park with trees".

 

Is the proposal really for a football stadium with capacity for 6,000 - 10,000? I always thought the idea was a 6,000 capacity stadium.

What is missing of course is the box where residents identify who is going to pay for the regeneration if they tick "no" to the football stadium. Unfortunately, Janik and his cronies seem incapable of comprehending that without the football stadium, there is no regeneration.

i did read that whole thread and all it seemed to be was a load of councillors behaving like children. However Ian does make a good point

It will be interesting to see what the official one comes out with. Obviously the 'Independant' one is going to be worded in such a way so that people will be opposed to it. I'd imagine the official one will be more suggestive toward 'if the chance came to develop Wentworth Ave area but had to include a football stadium in KP, would you support this?'. Essentially, this is what we have been told is going to happen, but with a question worded like that, all those around Wentworth Ave are obviously going to be in support, whilst those around KP will support the idea of regenerating W.Ave, but who in their right mind wants a football stadium on their back door? (With the exception of most of us!)

The football club in what ever form or where ever we might play...seams to act as a political football for anyone who wants to kick us in the teeth....

 

The local britwellians councilors - are only in the game to see how much damage their can inflick on the present Labour council ....

 

They don't really care about Kennedy Park either...if it would be them in power who do you think they would change ?

 

If Janik is serious in getting us back to Wexham Park then what is he doing about it...He told us he had been in touch with Mayfair communication last year....don't think so.....or he would have had something to say about it ....

 

Can he secure some land for us to have a small development to enough work and have enough income to support the towns senior football club ?????

 

doubt it.........

 

In fact if he had his way the club would fail to exsist and we can all rest easy in Kennedy park with the wrecked burnt out cars and litter..and the worry of what will happen next to this area....

 

get real.....get supporting our club....

I also looked through that thread, although I ended up just skimming the last thirty or so postings. What a lot of drivel. I'm just glad that Mr Janik has left us alone for a while (Greetings, Paul!)

 

The contributors to that forum are obviously short of things to do with their time. Not exactly the sort of behaviour that will encourage people to become interested in their local council and bother to vote.

 

Let's hope the people of Britwell can see through the rhetoric and the bilge and appreciate what is really on offer.
