Reading Rebel
1) How did you first come to sign for Slough. 2) Do you see yourself staying in football on the management/coaching side when you stop playing. 3) What do you do for a living. 4) Who do see as your closest team mate at Slough. Radders
Thought that was a great interview. So interesting to hear about his time and I agreed with 4 of his 5 5-a-side team mates using his criteria of no current players. What a legend of the club!!! 3spirit
Sean has gained plenty of match experience now, and for me has matured as a player/man. I was interested when he said that he considers centre midfield as his best position, as when he played under Steve Bateman in that position I always thought he looked good there. Under Bakes and Unders he's mainly played as a right back but this and last season, we've seen glimpses of his effectiveness in midfield and to me he will have his work cut out to cement a regular centre-mid position but his usefulness to our squad is undiminished and I think he has proved his value to our side. Given that he is now the longest serving member of our squad, he should have due respect for that feat in itself. I just hope he can grab his chances, when they come along next season. As far as I'm aware Sean was never a full back until he was, due to necessity, shoe horned into that position by Steve Bateman. His versatility will always make him a useful member of our squad.
