I think Sam said that he's only ever been a full time footballer before he came to Slough but I don't think it was mentioned what he does now for a full time job.

His profile on Wikipedia states that he runs a personal training business with Lee.

Just watched the interview, thought Sam came across very well. We're fortunate to have him at the club.

I haven't seen quite as many games this season,as I have in previous seasons but of the games I've watched, Sam has been my player of the season [although I can see why fans opted for Lenchy]. I prefer Sam as a centre half to him being in midfield but obviously he can play both roles easily. His impact since he joined our club has been immense. We certainly struck lucky, given the timing of his arrival, as all things seemed to fall into place for our team, once he was aboard.

No mean feat fitting in a centre midfielder come centre half so smoothly. Credit to Sam for making it look easy. I'm amazed he never got a mitt-full of offers after he left Eastleigh but I'm sure he hasn't gone unnoticed now. Hope we are able to fend off any offers he gets for next season,as he's such an important player for us now.

You must be a busy man 3spirit.

Sam is obviously in the twilight of his football career so a combination of the chance to play football locally with his Brother and also one eye on finding work after football finishes I think was a couple of good reasons why he joined us.

At nearly 36 I can't think of any reason why he wouldn't want to stay with us regardless of any offers that were to come in for him from other clubs.
