If there is a club that is long overdue a good season it's North Greenford United FC I really hope they have a good season next season if next season happens of course ?

They have a decent clubhouse and a nice ground and it's in a nice setting its a good little set up there.

This was probably the worse playing surface in the Competition last season. The Club acknowledged as such and to there credit have done plenty of work to rectify the problem. Areas in the corner where you entered the pitch, outside the far penalty area and the touch line bench side were very poor and any rain rendered the pitch unplayable. Hopefully the remedial work work has solved all the issues.

Let's hope so ?

I haven't been there for a few seasons now so I'm long overdue a visit to the place.

Savagebee - Has Berkeley Fields changed much in the last ten years as I have never actually been there, here are over 150 photographs from a game with Slough Town on 13 November 2010 when they had just been promoted to the Zameretto Southern League Central Division after impressively winning the Combined Counties League Premier Division Championship  in 2009/10 under the great Steve Ringrose. They also reached the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup in 2010/11 losing 5-0 at Leiston which was, up to that point, their best ever showing in the competition since first entering in 2004, beating Bowers & Pitsea, Northwood and Felixstowe & Walton United after a reply. As for the game with Slough Town and the photographs below, Slough won 3-1 after North Greenford United took an early lead, the visitors then missed a penalty before equalising and running out fairly comfortable winners in the end. By the way if you reply you don't need to copy my whole post again including the album just to say one or two words or give a thumbs up sign, Ian will be running out of data storage space on the Forum soon:

Not really but in recent years they have built a new small covered standing area stand behind the goal next to the seated stand.

Recognised a lot of those players in those pictures would have been interested to see the line ups.
