in fact we dont call it wrong Gaz...we actually get it right......little comfort in taking 4 points off us..(well done)...and being bottom of the league....

ask yourself this....if your players are so good...why dont they play like that every week....truth is...they enjoy the big games against teams like us....at stadiums like ours and in fact are concious of our wage structure and our manager watching them....all teams that come here are the same....

thats our 'punishment' for being successful and in everyone's faces....we can deal with it...

we will always win the 'must win' games....its called class Gaz and we've got it..... you aint....it will however come...I'm sure of that..... under your new chairman....it will however take time....anyway....class.....

stowie has it....

hockton and No's 3 and 4 have it....as does the on loan goalie....thats it....

maybe justin as well...we'll see....he also must learn to motivate himself and your team for the low profile games....

well done ...good luck...

Will never play you again, you will be in Divison One-North.

Well we'll see.

But that still wont change the fact that you dropped 5 points against us! <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Actually Unc, I was having a go at the "we're going to do The 'Ricay 5-0"...That is what I call..."calling it wrong".

As for the team, well it is well known we're in the market so, we'll see.

And as the seasons not over yet, with both teams to play for it (all be it different priorities and all that), lets take it to the wire and then we can all laugh (or cry) at each others faliures or successess.

They have been, these past few weeks at least. Half that team wasn't here at the start of the season. The strengths and weaknesses on saturday were the same as for Bedford, Hayes etc etc - We have passion, pride and fight, and a decent defensive line but we struggle to score goals.

so what you are basically saying is thjat our players (& players of other teams) only put on a show cos they want to play for you? Does your arrogance have no boundaries?

I don't think that is what he is saying. He is saying that we only "show" up for big rival events. i.e. Hornchurch, Canvey etc., etc. And given the recent "history" and gamesmanship between the two clubs, he maybe right...

But lts get one thing in perspective here, we played well, Hornchurch didn't. And there a plenty of complaints about their performance on their forum to back that one up. So in light of that, we were up for it and they were not.

Now lets concentrate on getting behind the team for Saturdays game against Ford and turn these fighting 1 pointers into winning 3 pointers!!!

thanks Gaz but in fact I did mean that players come to the stadium hoping to attract the attention of our manager.....its no secret in football that we have one of the biggest budgets around and players want money and the idea of full time football...

its a realisation of any young players dream to go full time and get paid...

we get over 20 players a week from other clubs telephoning for a chance to join us....we've had telephone calls from ricay players....

why is it arrogant of me to say that....its the truth...ask any player and if they are truthfull they'll tell you the same...

I was merely stating a fact...every team that comes to us plays above themselves....there may well be other issues involved there but the deciding factor is to impress...

you really must calm down and read the threads properly.... <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />...instead of merely 'observing' them.... <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I do think the players appreciate the over the top cash situation in particular the payment (for some) for 52 weeks a year and yes given the opportunity would move for the money where the money is so substantially better than average

Where I would differ Unc is your boasting reference your "stadium" Your new stadia maybe (I doubt it) but your present stadia would not make top ranking and would struggle to make middle ranking among non-league clubs

I dont think I made any reference on this thread to our stadium did I.....it was about the players wanting to come to hx....thats a fact...90% of 'em....

as for the ground...well...its good enough to get us into the alliance...FACT...and all it needs is a few more seats and we'd be in the conference...FACT....

do agree though that it has its shortcomings and in due course either has to be redeveloped or a new one built....we already have the land for that in upminster so either way we'll get there...

personally I'd prefer to take the latter option...

in terms of where the current stadium fits in non league terms....running track aside...it takes some beating for general ammenities and comfort...

and the pitch has to be up there with the best of 'em...

well if its good enough for tha alliance already and good enough for the conference with an extra 450 seats in it....then it must be considered as...'rated'...

would you not agree...

if you take all the other amenities into consideration....well...24 showers in each changing room...(always hot water).....he he he......physio facilities in each changing room...a first aid room in the changing rooms....

it goes on and on....

what can we say pabird....

Feckin' hell...wouldn't fancy watching that one meself. Ford are a bunch of kickers (nice fans tho'), and with Ricay currently adopting a "backs to the wall" tactic(all credit to them, but it's not "pretty") then the forthcoming game has the appeal of a pair of one-legged boxers slugging it out.

Actually...that does sound quite interesting after all. Wonder if Don King's thought of that one. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

oh I dunno ryan...seems to me that the 50 grand we got in the FA Cup was quite a 'shafting'...seeing as though we knocked you out first to get it.... <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
