A number of meetings took place last week, presumably by so called Webinar, to determine how to end the 2019/20 football season in a satisfactory fashion. EFL League One and League Two Club's met on Friday however League One failed to agree on whether to end their campaign early and there will be further discussions tomorrow. League 2 Club's however decided to end their season early and the final table is likely be decided using a points per game (ppg) method, promotion and relegation have not yet been confirmed but play off fixtures are still planned to take place. League 2 Club's also voted in support of suspending relegation to the National League for the 2019-20 campaign however that decision lies with the EFL and the FA and must have gone down like a lead balloon with the likes of AFC Barrow although Stevenage, who are bottom of League 2, will be rubbing their hands. It's all such a terrible can of worms isn't it:

Barrow Manager Ian Evatt has unsurprisingly made a statement following the recent meeting of League Two Club's and he is still hopeful of returning to the Football League since the Club were unceremoniously voted out in 1972 when Hereford United replaced them:

Stevenage owner Phil Wallace has made a statement, and was also speaking on BBC Thee Counties Radio on Friday, he awaits the outcome of further discussions later today between League One Club's as to how they wish to end their campaign however League Two Club's decided on Friday to end their season early and the final table is likely be decided using a points per game (ppg) method. If a final decision is made not to relegate Stevenage, then the National League play offs are unlikely to take place, as well as the National League North and South play offs, so a lot is resting on it, then would Barrow be promoted to the Football League in order to make up the numbers following Bury's sad demise which would no doubt upset the other promotion hopefuls:

Celtic have been crowned Scottish Premier Division Champions and Hearts relegated following a decision taken at a Board meeting earlier today, average points per game (ppg) played was used to determine final placings. Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Cove Rangers 'won' Scottish Division One, Two and Three respectively with Partick Thistle relegated from Division One and Stranraer from Division Two. Unprecedented stuff!:

I gather League Two could be decided by an 'unweighted points per game (ppg)' system, whatever that is, and, apparently, this is how the tables would look if that is applied to the National League. It's all such a dogs breakfast isn't it and a can of worms:
