Common sense to wear face coverings and perhaps one of the compulsory measures to get supporters back into stadiums.

I think some pubs are going to be taking temperatures as people enter. I'm sure how practical that would be at a football ground.

Ordinarily, I'd share your scepticism. However see below from the gov.uk website guidance for pubs and restaurants.

Doesn't specifically ban sport but suggests refraining from broadcasts that may encourage shouting!

The Bath City Chairman has announced that they are committed to playing in the play-offs.

He has calculated that it will cost the club around 35k and will be asking the supporters to help fund this.

I make it 3 teams so far committed to competing in the play-offs Havant, Dorking and Bath.

Just one more team needed to make them possible.

Big back page artcicle in todays 'Dorking & Leatherhead Ad' on the playoffs with loads of quotes from Marc White.

Unforunately, I can't find any web-link at present.

My understanding is that Bury FC have applied to join National League. If successful, they would be placed in National League North. That is why only one (as of now) or three (subject to the resolution result to be announced on Thursday) clubs will be relegated from National  League.

It is a strange situation as although Bury FC failed to fully honour it's Company Voluntary Arrangement, it has not as yet been put into liquidation. But Steve Dale has always been confident of a buyer being just round the corner!

Stated on the newly formed BURY AFC website on Wednesday 8th. July 2020 :-

"A very brief word on BURY FC. We don’t yet know the fate of the club and it’s not in our hands, but there will be no celebrations should Bury FC be denied entry into a league, whatever we think of the rights or wrongs of it. A number of Bury fans still hold out hope for the old club and we respect that. We set Bury AFC up in the knowledge that saving Bury FC might not be possible, not because we wanted to see its demise. We all share the same common bond for the club and the town and we hope this will be restored again."

I thought the Government announced that they hoped to have supporters back in stadiums by October at the latest with reduced attendances being trialed before this date?

Surely non league, where clubs cannot operate financially without fans, should be the first place to start these trial runs.

Slough Town face masks...... could be a novelty addition to the club shop or available to purchase on the gate!!

When we do initially get back to matches it is likely all fans will be required to wear face coverings, and Ebbsfleet, in our division next season, have launched their branded product this week.

Certainly something I’d buy and I’m sure it’ll be popular especially as it’s likely to be mandatory for a while. Ok might not make massive profit but it’s another small revenue stream.
