The last of the albums for 2nd April was extremely emotionally hard for me to shoot, as it was only hours after I lost my mum.

I thought he might have been playing a bit higher than Suburban League level.

If I remember correctly, most of the players didn't arrive until around 15 minutes before kick off, and pretty much got changed on the pitch.

Reading Rebel he was playing for Harefield trying to get his fitness back worked against him unfortunately, (Spartan league they play in).

I think it's fair to say this will be a popular opinion, but I sure don't miss going to and playing AFC Hayes! 

And I should add, thanks for sharing all these Gary. It's been good looking back through some of the older albums and reminiscing about players and sadly some of the supporters no longer with us.

Agree Gary , although there were a few memorable incidents there including one I’d forgotten till seeing these photos . The one where the ref is talking to the Slough fans , he was actually running a quick rules  quiz while the keeper was getting treatment to,see if we knew what should happen next . Top man.
