Berkhamsted FC midfielder Josh Chamberlain is still playing for Berkhamsted FC in the Southern League Division One Central.

Josh Chamberlain scored 6 goals in 26 games this season.

Savagebee - Yes, who can possibly forget Josh Chamberlain's goal against Kempston Rovers in the FA Vase Second Round at Broadwater in 2015/16

Did you kneel down and kiss the great man's boots out of interest, was that against Royston Town:

In the south mids Rory Bray, Michael Carrol, Damien Wiffin, there was a South African fella that at the end of his career played at Pitstone and him and Gary Rae ran games without breaking a sweat in the middle of the park. Came back and played against Craig Hammond twice who who was very good. Remember a winger for Tring back in the 90’s who was absolutely lightning too. Remember playing against some excellent centre halves at Hoddesdon, Dunstable and Stony Stratford but can’t think of names.

elsewhere, Craig Hignett, Alex Rae, Kevin Phillips but the absolute best was Julio Arca a magician.

the best worst was Paul Dalglish I made a switch to centre half and marked him out of the game, months later he was back in Scottish prem then went on to win MLS with Houston scoring twice in the final!

Craig Hammond had some great seasons at Cambridge City FC didn't he.

Paul Dalglish never settled at any club did he.

Think he is managing over in the USA these days.

Savagebee - How long have you got, or actually what is the data storage capacity of this Forum. Craig Hammond arrived at Cambridge City via Melbourn FC (Cambs), Mildenhall Town, Royston Town, Histon and AFC Sudbury, during his three seasons at Milton Road Craig netted for fun for the Lillywhites who finished fourth in 2010/11, fifth in 2011/12 and eighth in 2012/13, losing twice in a promotion semi final playoff. Midway through the 2010/11 campaign, with Craig already on 22 goals, he was spirited away to Loftus Road for trials and starred in their Reserves 2-2 draw with Charlton at QPR's training ground at Harlington. Glenn Hoddle was, for some reason, at the match and even pulled Craig to one side afterwards to compliment him however, to this very day, it is one of life's unsolved mysteries why he wasn't offered terms by Neil Warnock and returned to Milton Road where he continued his phenomenal goal scoring exploits. The trial with QPR was a distraction and arguably cost Cambridge City automatic promotion that season as Craig only netted another seven times in 2010/11, as was an exhausting run to the FA Cup First Round proper in 2012/13, only losing at Milton Keynes Dons after a replay with Craig starring in both ties and on live tv at Milton Road in a 0-0 draw:

Never knew he had trials at QPR FC.

Savagebee - Prior to joining Cambridge City did you know that the Craig was at Histon during the 2009/10 campaign who, at that time, were surprisingly a Conference side and you certainly wouldn't have thought so the way they treated the great man at Bridge Road. Craig was initially brought in by then Manager Steve Fallon who unfortunately left the Club in January 2010 after four promotions following a falling out with then Chairman Tony Roach. Craig didn't get along with Fallon's successor Alan Lewer, who had only joined Histon from Grays Athletic in October 2009, Lewer was 'a maverick' and a total disgrace, it's hardly surprising he left the Club at the end of that season albeit after he delighted in cancelling Craig's contract:

Here we go folks, here's a real treat for you, Arthur Barker, top row second from the left in the team photo of Haringey Borough during the 2005/2006 campaign, Leon Rolle, next to Arthur, and Takumi Ake, third from the right in the top row, have already been featured in this thread. Arthur was a former public schoolboy and far more suited socially to rowing or rugby, he had a highly paid job and drove around in a trendy silver VW Golf however what a player and he always gave his all. His claim to fame is scoring the fastest goal in Haringey Borough's long history after just six seconds of a SSML Premier Division game against Biggleswade United at Coles Park in 2005/2006. Arthur later went on to play for Ruislip Manor and Kentish Town in the SSML:

Here's one for you folks, wait for it, Takumi Ake, former Haringey Borough magician in the SSML who went on to play for Hendon, Team Bath, Newport County and Chelmsford City, what a player: Takumi is now back in his native Japan.

Another fan of the great man I see who is in SSML action here against Langford I believe. Takumi often got accused of diving and was unfairly called 'Klinsmann' on occasions but nothing could have been further from the truth, he was incredibly light on his feet, similar if not more so than a ballet dancer, and you could knock him over with a feather, he glided with the ball rather than ran with it:

You could see Alexander Read's huge potential as soon as he walked through the gate at Coles Park for the first time as a 17 year old with his devoted Father. East End born and bred, albeit a Liverpool fan, he was with Leyton FC and Wimbledon FC as a schoolboy prior to joining Haringey Borough, Alex was, and still is, a footballer with exceptional natural talent which could and should have taken him all the way, what he could do with a football was impossible to teach and the ball was like a fifth limb. He was never destined to stay long with Haringey Borough and soon went on to far bigger and better things with the likes of Bishops Stortford, Harlow, Aveley and is currently with Tonbridge Angels in the Vanarama National League South:

Josh Scott, plied his trade with Kentish Town for a while in the SSML along with his brother Lee, both brothers were on Arsenal's books when they were schoolboys and, although both forwards, could and should have reached the heights of the Charlton brothers. Josh went on to play for Aldershot Town, Hayes & Yeading, Ebbsfleet United and Dagenham & Redbridge where he made 112 appearances for the Daggers and netted 23 times, he played at Wembley in the 2010 League 2 play off Final in a pulsating 3-2 win over Rotherham after scoring four times in the Semi Final First Leg against Morecambe:

I used to watch Josh Scott play for Hayes FC and then Hayes & Yeading United FC he was a top striker.

Josh Scott returned to Hayes & Yeading FC a few seasons ago but he was well past his best.

David Blaine, David Copperfield and Ben Hanlin spring very much to mind when describing magician Safraz Pivano, an amazing player for Kentish Town in the SSML who, had he taken the game seriously would have undoubtedly reached the very top, his reliability also wasn't the best but when he did turn up for matches Kentish Town rarely lost, if at all. Safraz seemed to prefer playing with his circle of chums in the Islington Midweek League at Market Road where the 3G surface was pioneered back in the day, he later went on to play for Sporting Bengal United and Tripimeni-Olympia in the KOPA League:

Just found this sorting out a cupboard. A fair few of the Sun Sports lads went on to play step 3 and 4. This was the second half of the season after a disastrous start. I joined in the October / November when we were rock bottom but by January we’d got a good bit young team together.

Spencer Belloti is a bit of a SSML Legend in my opinion.

Lewis Putman the ex Oxhey Jets FC striker smashed in 81 goals for Oxhey Jets FC during the 2012/13 season which attracted the attention of league clubs such as Luton Town FC.

Lewis Putman's last known address was Kings Langley FC where he played 11 games and scored 0 goals :shocked2(2):

A bit of a journey man now.
