Time:  4pm - closing (approx. 10.30pm)

Entrance free. Come and chill out after the night before or, if you can't make it down to Low Life, come down anyway and point at the straggly fools that did.

The Social also does a very fine Sunday roast for those of you so inclined.

Seems Braintree Station is on a branch line, and there's only one train an hour, so we'll have to make sure we get there in plenty of time.

 

I'll sort out a Booze Train timetable later in the week!!

You can get a train from Liverpool street in the direction of Ipswich / Clacton / Harwich every 15 mins but you will need to change at Witham. (If you want to get a taxi from Witham to Braintree it is about 9 miles, 9 quid) (15.00 quid late at night to return you back home)(Rail operator is First Great Eastern Railways) but if you wish to go direct /straight through to Braintree on the train, then only 1 an hour, the Branch line journey is about 15 mins, going through White Notley,Cressing,Braintree Freeport, terminating at the end of the line at Braintree. (Watch the old ticket inspectors on the branch line, they are always on it)

How many of your EFM are coming down to sponsor & drink the place dry then?

If you dont fancy going to the club house to watch your cup football (At noon), opposite the ground you have the Orange Tree, in the Town Centre, 2 mins walk from the station about 10-15 from the ground, you have the Bull, both have large screens.

We're not sure what time we're getting down yet - I've emailed the lads, and we're deciding whether to get down in time for Man Utd.

 

Either way, we'll be at the club by 2pm for our champagne welcome!!
