Footage of Mani Asare in action and putting some local youngsters through their paces. It's hugely inspiring to watch and says it all about Mani who is philosophical going into Enfield Borough's FA Vase Second Qualifying Round tie this afternoon at Essex Senior League Club Hadley having beaten Southern Counties East League Premier Division Tower Hamlets 3-2 at Summers Lane last month in the First Qualifying Round:

Enfield Borough can be proud of themselves for their performance at Hadley last Saturday in the FA Vase Second Qualifying Round however that won't be any consolation following the heartbreaking 8-7 penalty shoot out defeat after an exciting 1-1 stalemate where Mani Asare and Shaun Reece's brave men had opportunities to win the tie in the ninety minutes, see match report and YouTube footage. This afternoon it is back to SSML Division One action and a fixture with bottom of the table Hillingdon Borough at Summers Lane:

YouTube highlights, both match reports and match programme from Enfield Borough's SSML Division One fixture against Milton Keynes Irish at Summers Lane last Saturday (24 October) and disappointing 6-1 defeat considering Mani Asare and Shaun Reece's men had won 10-0 only the week before:

What a nice enamel badge, the Club have come a long way since their formation by Marvin Walker and Aaron Archer in 2016 and under Mani Asare and Shaun Reece will soon be able to look their namesakes Enfield FC and Enfield Town in the eye:

Enfield is a strange team. They seem to turn up one week and are unplayable. Then comfortable lose the next match.

Sounds like Mani's Southall team a few years back.

Always liked Mani though he always had time for a chat. Wears his heart on his sleeve.

Savagebee - Maybe a little bit too much going by this video clip, what do you think, his language is rather over the top:

Go Mani ?

Savagebee - Do you approve then, there will have been some seventeen and eighteen year old lads in that dressing room, possibly even sixteen, I don't think it sets a very good example

For me there is more for the youngsters to worry about these days.

Hancocks fake crying will do the youngsters more damage now that's scary.

Savagebee - Football Managers are supposed to set an example expecially to the wide eyed younger players so I have to say that I am disappointed with Mani and he has gone down in my estimation, it's described as a 'powerful heartfelt speech' but that's misleading.

Just under two years ago Enfield Borough produced three players in quick succession for professional Club's, Franklin Domi went to Queens Park Rangers, Romoney Chichlow-Noble moved to Huddersfield Town and Percy Kiangebeni signed on the dotted line for Colchester United. Enfield Borough is literally a conveyor belt of talent thanks to Mani Asare and Shaun Reece's guidance and stewardship of young players at the Club and they are doing an amazing job:

There hasn't been a great deal of news coming out of Summers Lane of late however that all changes tomorrow evening when Enfield Borough travel to Combined Counties League Division One outfit FC Deortivo Galicia in a Middlesex FA Premier Cup First Round tie. Shaun Reece and Mani Asare (pictured) are quietly confident that they can go to the Bedfont Recreation Ground and get a result, as was the case for Rayners Lane last night at Pitshanger Dynamo and the two SSML Division One sides could well find themselves locking horns in a Quarter Final tie as was the case in October when Rayners Lane won a hard fought SSML Division One contest 3-2 at Tithe Farm, the sides had yet to come face to face at Summers Lane prior to the curtailment of the campaign:

Surely Enfield Borough can't be best pleased with their placing in the Combined Counties League Division One, I would have thought that the majority of their players live in North London:
