Anyway, in the league that really matters the clash of the top two went the way of Lord Upminster who is now level again with Sir Colin (who still can't remember what crowd he's going to announce). The Urchin Yid v COYS derby thankfully ended all square, thereby reducing the chances of broken crockery at Spud Hart Lane, and Cup of Tea waltzed home in the battle of the bottom two against a dazed and confused Ozz, (whose resurgence last week appears to have been a false dawn). In Div 2, it was a day of CRUSHED optimism. Paul C? Finally thinks he's got his sh!t together. As did Luke... so yes, an inevitable 12-12 draw. But that was nothing to compare with the shock at Lady Jago Towers and Blackballed Avenue. Both smashed in 14. Both came home to their loved ones with wide smiles and a warm (and unusual) certainty of their own brilliance. So a 14-14 draw was a bit of a bummer really. Hilarious for the rest of us though ? Finally a note for Fat Tom and Wivenhoe. As I believe Winston Churchill once averred... "You have to be in it to win it". (To be fair to Tom he may just be giving the rest of us a chance - he has won every game he's remembered to enter - and unsurprisingly lost the other two). Here it all is...
