What an insane match.

We started pretty well only to fall behind from a hugely disappointing goal. Saying that by sounds of it Bird was struggling with an injury which may explain it to some extent.

Brilliant strike by Roberts to get us back in it.

Their second seemed out of the blue as well. Chance looked to be wasted but ball fell kindly off post for tap in.

Lovely assist from the sun got us level. Fortuitous but about time bit of luck went our way.

Red card seemed harsh. I've seen a pic and Hodges is holding the arm but Lee was at very least level with the attacker. Linesman gave them multiple freekicks that ref waved away and yet linesman gave us nothing in similar areas leaving it to ref. Other than forgetting he was in charge from time to time I thought the ref was pretty good

With 10 you're thinking lets hold on and maybe try to steal a goal. No need to worry it turned out.

Set plays don't always bring us as many goals as maybe they should but paid of big time here. 3 great headed goals put the crowd in utter disbelief

outside of 3 or 4 great crosses from their right, one that produced a goal, I think we defended superbly with 10 men. Jack going walkabout the only other real danger moment

Phenomenal effort on the pitch and despite missing quite a few big voices in crowd, the support was maybe the best of the season yet.

important that Hungerford at home is treated as important as this game especially by the fans. Need to try and produce at least half as good an atmosphere as these away games. I do think the home support is slowly improving for noise it won't happen instantly

As you say, their two goals seemed to come from simple balls down the middle where we were done for pace but as we now know in hindsight Birdy probably shouldn't have played.

Can't add much to what's been said, except that I was at the far side where we scored those 2nd half goals and the header from Ben Harris was exceptional. Warren's header I was right in line with and as soon as he headed it I knew it was in! Finally the brilliant interception from Sam Togwell to stop Prior from scoring very late on. I'd walked around behind the goal and fully expected to see their 4th goal go in!

I've waited all season to get them back for their controversial win at Arbour Park.

SD, sorry to be pedantic but you mean 'talking about the teams outstanding win'.

SD - I started the thread at half time not after full time.
After full time, at 19.02 on Saturday evening, I posted "Congratulations to all on this sensational result and the splendid turn out.

SD - You need to read things a lot more carefully before making comment.

Recently watched two excellent video's on YouTube of Saturday's match v Dorking. First of all is a match blog from young Rebel fan Max I think his name is. Fantastic viewing. Shows the atmosphere of that match perfectly. Great job Max !

Secondly is a video from Dorking Wanderers I believe. I don't know if it's the official highlights. It's called Matchday Focus. It has no commentary but has sound and captures almost all the goals AND the red card extremely well.  I'm sorry I don't have the technical skills to put a link on here to them but they are excellent viewing.

SG  on none of my posts have i not said that you did not congratulate the teams win. But this is a Slough v Dorking thread.

Talk about other teams woes gets response and takes away the outstanding win.

Other subjects should be put on Other League Snippets or on the thread that is being discussed about.

You obviously feel strongly about this issue and have every right to post your opinions but as you have accepted other forum members who responded to non Dorking items clearly wanted to respond and had no issues with doing so

Surely it's easy to simply scroll past an item you dont approve of

I cant see how anyone would be dissuaded from posting about our win The thread is still open.

Put the right subjects on to the right threads.

Easy as that.

There's another video blog gone up on YouTube with highlights of Saturday's game. This time a Scottish Dorking fan. Has great coverage again of the red card, this time from the other touchline. There  is plenty of good video clips available of the red card incident if we wanted to make an appeal.
