Five over-rated 'trendy' comedies

League of Gentleman is quality, Zeal are you one of these people who need canned laughther to know when to laugh (One of my family - no pun- actually said that he didn't get the office because he didn't know when to laugh but my family was quality because the canned laughter told him when to laugh)

Goodness GM and Kumars are [****!!****], I only saw a couple of the little Britains and they grew on me, I found last nights very good.

Haven't seen the others!

Top Two Comedys over the last couple of years that were criminally ignored by the mainsteam while everyone laughed at the repeats of Keeping Up Apperances:

1. 15 Storeys High

2. World of Pub

Both bloody classics!

Don't be a twat. It's just unfunny.

You only like it so that you can be seen as irreverent and 'cool'.

Erm! .... I liked it because it was funny <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Alan Winn loved it, didn't realise he was trying to be cool!

I wasn't talking about Alan. I was talking about you.

If that programme was on ITV1 at 8pm on a Wednesday night, and watched by 13m viewers, you would slag it off, because if everyone else like something, you don't. You only like to be seen enjoying stuff, be it music, TV or whatever, that is underground, has cult status, or is just down-right unheard of, to convey an air of cool.

I'd tend to agree with Zeal about 'League of Gentlemen' although I strongly suspect my dislike of it may have something to do with the fact that I've only seen a couple of episodes and I reckon you need to follow all the episodes to really appreciate the humour.

As for the 'trendy' accusation - how could Thorns prove to you that he really did enjoy it because of the humour? I think that whatever he said you'd still claim he only liked it cos it was trendy.
