Edgware Town

The Wares have risen to 6th in the table as they seek to better their finishes in the past three seasons where they’ve come 17th, 10th and 13th respectively.

Edgware are one of two clubs - along with Crawley Green - to benefit from an artificial pitch allowing them to fulfil more fixtures during the winter months and put more points on the board.

They’re currently on a run of just two defeats in 13 league outings and recorded an impressive 4-0 victory over Baldock during that sequence - the Reds’ only loss in ten.

One of those losses did come midweek where they were beaten 2-0 at home to Newport Pagnell Town, ending a 5-game unbeaten run.

Since Edgware were promoted as Division One champions in 2016, they haven’t lost in three visits to Second Meadow with United earning two victories at Silver Jubilee Park - including this season’s 3-1 triumph there back in October when Dave Parkinson scored twice.

Finding a win against the Wares on home soil is the task on Saturday, KO 3pm.
