well well well.....nice stuff guys but completely missing the whole issue.....now as you all know my views on these matters are somewhat liberal....as one would expect from a pillar of the community such as my goodself.....however.....

 

if I had my way I'd ship all these thieving scum back to whence they came at the wrong end of a fckin machine gun.....I'd reposess all their properties goods and chattels and freeze all their bank accounts and assets....

Somewhat liberal..... Mmmmm. Good job they're not biased to the right then or you might upset some of these visitors to our shores. Any way don't hold back Uncle Urchin tell us what you really think about this subject. Wasn't their some talk at one time of mooring a large ship off Tilbury to house asylum seekers. Just think, when this ship is full to bursting (after a couple of months) it sets sail down the Thames into the sunrise with thousands of Union Jacks being waved from both sides of the river & land of hope & glory being played from the tannoy systems. Oh what a lovely dream.

If we were to put the question of Asylum Seekers to the British Nation, then I can say with a lot of confidence that the greater percentage would vote against the influx of Asylum Seekers in this country. Now you can argue all you want, but the prevailing mood is against this influx.

So its ok for a Government to come into power on the power of democratic vote, but its not okay for the people to have democratic vote on a situation.

Hahaha, like it Nige. Regrettably, the seeds have already been sewn, no change of PM or government will be able to reverse this decline. What’s more, with the opening of the borders within the EU and the fact that all those tin pot former Eastern block countries have now joined the EU, there is nothing at all we can do from stopping them coming here. Whilst this government continues to hand out our hard earned taxes to the scum, what is there to deter them from invading our shores in their droves?!!!

Just a couple of very quick points,

 

Firstly in response to the points about the government ignoring the wishes of the people - the idea of representative democracy is that MP's are employed to spend their time thoroughly examining issues from every viewpoint, and be fully equiped with all available statistics, something which the average man on the street is surely unable to do. I know this is a well trodden argument, but it'd be intersting to see whether so many people would be so opposed to asylum-seekers if the popular press changed their perspective on them.

 

Secondly, the point about this 'scum' taking our hard earned taxes.

 

Migrants to this country provide a net financial BENEFIT to this country in the form of taxes paid, I personally believe that financial considerations are not the most important issue here, but it is interesting to note that the facts are in stark contrast with what the majority of people seem to believe.

 

Thirdly, economic migrants and asylum seekers are, as far as I can see, the only solution to the huge impending problem of the demographic shift in this country. They are generally much more likely to do the jobs that most Brits no longer want to do, or are too 'over-skilled' to do. And they are adding to the tax base that will need to be used to provide the pensions of the army of aging people who are retiring earlier and earlier. It is often forgotten that many economic migrants want to return to their home countries in their old age, the age at which they would be most likely to provide a net financial deficit to this country.

 

I would go into my theories about free international movement (actually rather right-wing in origin) but I know I'll only be shouted down.

 

Don't normally come in here, but I thought it might be useful to provide an alternative perspective - feel free to abuse me as much as you like - I'm used to it!

I agree that migrants to this country HAVE been income enhancing from a governments point of view...I would however offer up the notion that this next lot are hardly the stuff of law abiding shopkeepers and industrial workers et al but more likely pimps...gangsters and terrorist infiltrators....

 

I don't believe the huge increase in asian and carribean migrants to this country over the past 4 decades has had anything to do with seeking asylum has it...?..most of those law abiding people came here because WE INVITED THEM HERE to take up surplus jobs....

 

as to this pile of filth and scum adding to the tax base to assist in subsidising the pension monies hijacked by Blairs gangsters......hhhhmmm.....well if they get jobs for a start (most of 'em won't speak a word of fckin English)...a British National is likely to lose one....and most if not all of 'em aint coming here to work...they're coming here to take it easy in the land of milk and honey.....

Right of course, so we can fully expect the boatloads of Kosovans, Albanians, Slovakians, Poles, and Estonians all to be doctors, teachers, or anything else that will enhance the economy of this country?? So please tell us, where do these "economic migrants" live when they arrive at our shores? Do they come over with a bulging bank account and immediately pay their own way in our society? No, instead they are housed by local councils in houses, hostels, hotels or whatever other accommodation, at our, the TAXPAYER'S expense. They and their children are immediately afforded healthcare by the woefully under funded and stretched NHS, without sticking one bean into the taxman’s coffers. I have no problem with immigrants, as someone who is emigrating, I hope that my Spanish neighbours will welcome me and accept me into their communities. However, the big difference here is that I go with cash to set my self up over there. I will not arrive in Spain, cap in hand, begging for government handouts!

60% of the migrants coming to the uk are managerial level.

3/4 of the migrants coming to the uk are from developed countries.

I don't believe that this would really need to have all these things given to them?!I don't have a problem with migrants, i have a problem with illegal immigrants...
