Eynesbury Rovers were lucky to hold out for a point in the end at Hall Road yesterday after Robert Duckett was unceremoniously dismissed on thirty minutes for violent conduct when his side were two goals to the good. Crawley Green had already missed a spot kick when they were awarded another shortly after Duckett's red card and this time Billy Lobjoit, who else, made no mistake. It was no surprise when Crawley Green equalised just after the break through Sam Holmes however what was surprising was that Eynesbury Rovers managed to survive until the bitter end of the proceedings:

Bovingdon certainly made a fist of it at Abbey Road on Saturday and having gone behind on 43 minutes still went in level at the break when equalising pretty much immediately leaving their high flying opponents, and Challenge Trophy semi finalists, red faced in defence. It was looking like the Green Lane visitors could hold out for a well deserved point however, unfortunately for them, on 77 minutes Darryl Smith found the net with a cross shot from outside the box that beat the keeper:
