Irishadrian
Dulwich lead for most of the game after H&W missed a penalty A second penalty and two late goals maintained H&Ws unbeaten away record Looks like we will have to take that They go 3rd and push us back to 4th

GlenSTFC
No surprise really... It’s the equivalent of us getting around 550 on a freezing cold midweek match.
Curtis
I think it’s a surprise, that is only 40% of their average of over 2,100. It would be more like us getting 350.

Matt
Maidenhead could only muster 275 for their FA Trophy match last night, and apparently a large proportion of it was Halesowen supporters!
GlenSTFC
And they lost 1-3 to a team 3 leagues below!
Bernie Gogan
I was there, Maidenhead should have been minimum 3-0 up at half time, but second half Halesowen made some changes & deservedly won the game (great second goal btw). Away support probably 50-100 and brilliant celebration of supporters and players at the end. A different Maidenhead needs to turn up in National League if they are not to get sucked into the relegation dogfight. Not sure why many of the other regular 1000+ supporters didn't turn up! Interesting to see Ashley Sammons formerly of Redditch in the Halesowen line-up.
GlenSTFC
A cold midweek match against unattractive opposition where the majority would expect a home win are probably the main reasons. Add in season ticket holders not wanting to fork out extra money and fans more concerned with their league form.

Ashley Sammons was an excellent player a few seasons back when we were playing at that level, certainly good enough at the time to play at a higher level. REBEL MATTERS
Still bemuses me (I think that's the word for it) how Maidenheads average fan base shot up to the 1,200 mark. Going back years (late 80s onwards) I never really took much notice of Maidenhead results, as a club they wernt on my radar, was always Windsor & Eton / Wokingham (for the league title) our 'local' rivals, but sure they (Maidenhead) were getting nowhere near half of their current average support. When they started doing well in the Conference South (league were in now) I noticed their fan base was higher than I thought it was. I know midweek was a trophy game / cold etc...… but talking specifically about league games average..

Slough as an area gets a lot of bad press, and Slough High Street/Town Centre is hardly a place that makes you think 'what a lovely town to visit '. Rightly or wrongly, Maidenhead seems to have a better image. Personally, I think Maidenhead's football stadium is not very good and I can't see what's so appealing about watching anything there. Maidenhead has always been a much more affluent area than Slough. Maidenheads increased gates are certainly no surprise to me. We've increased ours over the years since we got promoted and returned to Slough and when we get into the NL they will increase considerably again. Situated in the town center Maidenheads ground is ok but pretty well non existent for parking but when and if they get the new stadium at Braywick they reckon they will be in a position to push on into the football league. Irishadrian
It's really all about status Maidenheads stagnant gates shot up as soon as their status did and of course higher quality opposition with good away support began to arrive regularly
Bernie Gogan
Just checked Maidenhead's early league gates in 2014-15 season (their 2nd season back in Nat. South) Sutton 404 Eastbourne 807 (bank holiday Monday) Farnborough 358 Havant 355 Weston -Super Mare 371 Staines 455 Ebbsfleet 511 Ours look a lot better at this stage of our progression comparatively, just saying...……..! Also consider we have lost a generation of potential new support after over a decade playing out of town. No walk up support & at Beaconsfield a bus service that stopped well before an evening game
