Interesting kidology?  from Jamie OHara  Although pleased with their victory over Wealdstone  Slough are the best team in the league and the one he really wants to beat   settled squad  excellent management  etc etc

I'm not sure if he believes all this or is preparing the ground should things not go their way.

Just watched highlights of their win against Wealdstone.

Looking at the state of the pitch some of the areas look like a ploughed field.

Sleeves rolled up battling performance required.

I naturally watched the highlights of Havant & Waterlooville  1  Maidstone United  2. Westleigh Park in general looked like a ploughed field with players picking up divots and treading them back into the pitch.

Two successive matches on such pitches in five days might help.

I like your sarcasm SG  ?

With rain forecast from Monday on wards the odds must be that it's postponed again which in truth will do us a massive favour.

It would be wonderful if he is believing it at 10 pm on Wednesday evening!

If called off I would be concerned with another midweek game fitted in between weekends.

could do without fixture congestion?

Remind me (too lazy to check) was it billericay ground who was broken into and had boy racers drive over pitch, why it’s in poor state or just poor grounds man ?

It was the vehicular damage that kicked all this off.

The pitch is the precious baby of  the grounds man there, so he must be going mad.

I've seen him following players in warm ups doing light forking to make sure they didn't damage it, when I've been there.

I thought the team were excellent today. A real spirited performance on a pig of a pitch.

I don't think we can argue that a draw was a fair result but leading 2-1 in the 89th minute it really feels like it's 2 points dropped.

I thought Matt Lench was absolutely superb today, a real quality midfield performance from him.

I was surprised he was taken off (injured?) because we then seemed to start conceding ground, getting deeper and deeper with the equalizer looking on the cards.

Hopefully Wednesday's game will be called off giving us a week to recover for what looks like a real 6 pointer against Dartford who are on a roll winning their last 5 games.

COYR!!!!!!!!!!!

Good point away considering Billericay's form. One question did we play a 4-5-1 ?

I thought going forward Billericay looked very good with their left winger, possibly Odysseus Alfa on loan from QPR,  more than useful giving Josh Jackman a tough afternoon.

Again it's all about a balance between defence and attack.

If Billericay could tighten up in defence they would be threatening the play-offs for sure.
