Rhodes
Stotfold v London Lions could be a much closer affair, you never know which London Lions will turn up on the day and if it is the one that won 1-0 at New Salamis in January then it is Apollo 13 time and Stotfold have a problem:

Spartan Division one cup semi-final. Kick Off: 19.47 I.M.T. Result: 5-0. Admission: £3 for the elderly. Programme: £1 - good value. Attendance:108 Nothing negative to say about 'New Roker Park' I liked the ground, the clubhouse, the people and the food is fulfilling and cheap. The programme highlight was two pages of Travellers Tales by Brian Buck, the great man was here in person to autograph copies along with at least a dozen other members of the groundhopping fraternity. As the result would suggest, a comfortable win for the home side enabling them to reach their second cup final of the season.

Rhodes
The eagerly awaited Division One Cup Final would have been taking place this evening (29 April) and it's 'criminal' isn't it, to put it mildly, that the Coronavirus deprived us of the Stotfold v St Panteleimon showpiece which was to be staged at Colney Heath in front of a very decent attendance. St Panteleimon would have gone into the Final as favourites and may well have secured the Division One Championship last Saturday, if not before, with Stotfold doing enough to secure a top four place enabling them to gain promotion to the top flight along with St Panteleimon, New Salamis and arguably Rayners Lane. On the way to the Final Stotfold possibly enjoyed the easier passage, defeating Langford, Ampthill Town, Amersham Town and London Lions whereas, despite receiving a First Round bye, St Panteleimon had to see off their bitter rivals New Salamis in a Second Round tie at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium that went all the way to a nail biting 6-5 penalty shoot out. The Quarter Final tie at a wet and windy Stratford Fields was no cake walk either with Buckingham Athletic the better side throughout and Donald Manaj performing heroics in goal for the visitors, in the end it was an 87th minute strike from Roberto Katsikas that put St Panteleimon through to a Semi Final with Enfield Borough at Summers Lane which they won 3-2. Arsenal fan
Why not declare Stotfold and St Pantelimon as joint winners and recognise their achievement in reaching the final? That is what is happening in some counties. Medals all round! Could even pass a rule change at the AGM to use points per game to award division titles for the season just ended.
