v Eastbourne Borough

It was very much a 6/10 performance all round and I was happy with a point as Eastbourne had good spells in the game.

All perfectly understandable given so many games in a short space of time and with the squad hit by injury suspension and illness. Went with someone who was at their first game in a number of years and was pointing out the premiership complaints over injuries during the festive period and highlighting it was not a patch on what our players have to cope with.

I was also pleased with the attitude as without playing well we kept pushing for the win.

Obviously the goal was the stand out moment and made me look like I knew what I was talking about as I'd suggested Scotty was one to keep an eye on during the warm up.

Hopefully the boys will have a chance to rest and recover before the next one. COYR

This post was talking about the Wealdstone supporters top of the league yet not noisy enough. In this game we were sitting 5th it was 1 - 1 even though there were problems with injuries and players not well. This is the type of game when the team need the support and singing behind them but it was more like a morque than a library behind the goal and yes it was me shouting from next to the dugout come on you lot behind the goal get singing your to quiet. Why is it that supporters only sing when there winning and always when playing away oh and we moved up a place to 4th.

COYREBELS get behind the team.
