Simon has had several spells at the club over the years and has been with us for the most part for last three seasons. Top player, one of the best midfielders I’ve seen in south mids over the years I’ve been involved. Don’t know much on Ricky G, doing well though. There are some excellent players at the club. Freshwater has been a standout since he came into the team at 16 some years back, his dad was top quality.

Stotfold followers/officials made up the bulk of the attendance here and they weren't disappointed as their side took the initiative right from the start against an out-of-sorts home side who were probably distracted by the drum-banging from the Berkhamsted fans visiting the noisy next-door neighbours. Bedford did have a few chances, but to no avail.
