Big J R
I think there may be trouble ahead ! They'll be lucky to get away with only fines.

petethegreek
Based on the report, they will lose the match with the score standing at the time of the abandonment. County FA will charge the Club.
Rhodes
Yes, match highlights on Youtube, well 45 minutes of them anyway, it´s hardly surprising that Abingdon Town didn´t come out for the second period: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfMHrOtrrM0&feature=youtu.be
LeightonLad
Their manager resigned today and justified the walk out on a lack of training facilities. Apparently they hadn’t trained for 3 weeks. Whatever is going on at the club, to walk out at half time is inexcusable, it smacks of a lack of character and pride. You would imagine Abingdon are in danger of folding now

Rhodes
I see that they are still debating the Abingdon United v Abingdon Town game on another Forum and, as Leighton Lad said, Abingdon Town supremo Tranell Richardson has unsurprisingly resigned as Manager albeit blaming everyone but himself on Twitter, last Saturday's Hellenic League Division One East fixture with AFC Aldermaston at their Culham Road home was cancelled by the League: https://www.nonleaguematters.co.uk/forums/index.php?threads/abingdon-local-derby-ends-at-half-time.407/ https://abingdontownfc.com/2020/01/01/first-team-manager-required/
