Just a reminder that the other Non League Football Show is still going on each week on Friday's, unfortunately host Tim Fuell is not Ollie Bayliss but then who is and last Friday's show was not such a bad listen (see below) albeit all about the NFL and nothing lower down the Pyramid as is always the case:

The other Non League Football Show which took place earlier today is an interesting listen for obvious reasons, it's sadly not Ollie Bayliss but you can use the link above or the one below:

Ollie Bayliss was chatting to Robbie Savage and Chris Sutton again on BBC Five Live's 606 Show this evening (Saturday) about the dire National League situation:

Ollie Bayliss is currently tight lipped about what and who will be featured on his eagerly awaited BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show this afternoon however it doesn't take a genius to work out that it will be all about the National League fiasco and Hemel Hempstead Town, St Albans City and Boreham Wood. Ollie should have a field day of Edgbaston 1981 proportions and no doubt Lee Bircham, Dave Boggins, Luke Garrard, Danny Hunter, Ian Allinson and Lawrence Levy will be all be spoken to, St Albans City in particular were looking good for a play off berth and possibly the Championship having moved up to fifth place recently with four games in hand of some Club's and three in hand of leaders Dorking Wanderers. It is of little or no surprise then that Chairman Mr Levy said in a statement that 'this Club did not want this to happen and the Directors have been fighting very hard in recent weeks to try and ensure that the league competition would continue and the outcome of the season could be determined on the field of play'. Hopefully there will be at least some mention on the show of League's further down the Pyramid and the SSML.

Bulletin folks, from what I am led to believe Ollie Bayliss will obviously discuss the critical National League situation on his BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show this afternoon, fortunately the show won't be all about the National League and I have it on good authority that Ollie will chat to Hellenic League Chairman Bob Dalling about the future of the 2020/21 campaign at Steps 3-6 level. It's strange isn't it how nobody from the SSML hierarchy ever comes on the show or at least I can't remember the last time, I wonder why that is. Fill your boots anyway at 2.00pm:

So who heard it then last Sunday afternoon, don't all rush at once, it was another great BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show despite being largely concentrated on the National League fiasco however you can't blame Ollie Bayliss for focusing on that and, as anticipated, Boreham Wood, St Albans City and Hemel Hempstead Town were all heavily featured. Hemel Hempstead Town Chairman Dave Boggins always talks a lot of sense doesn't he as does St Albans City joint Chairman Lawrence Levy, controversial Boreham Wood Chairman was also on the show pleading poverty however he has all of Arsenal's millions in his back pocket to fall back on. Aside from that there was an interesting interview with Hellenic League Chairman Bob Dalling who is always good value, I'm assuming that the Development sides of Aston Clinton, Buckingham Athletic and Old Bradwell United will all be continuing in the Hellenic League Division Two North for the forseeable future:

Here's something to look forward to on Ollie Bayliss's BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show on Sunday, Ollie interviewed National League General Manager Mark Ives today and here's a snippet of what was discussed to whet the appetite ahead of Sunday afternoon, not that it needs whetting. Roll on Sunday:

Just a reminder that the other Non League Football Show took place earlier today if, in the unlikely event, anybody is interested particularly as the co host Dave Anderson totally ruins it week in week out and you can barely understand his brogue, it shows how fortunate we are to have Ollie Bayliss hosting 'our' show:

The Non League Football Show / 26th February 2021 - Step 3-6 Curtailment: Jersey Bulls & Mark Harris (audioboom.com)

In the week the FA announced curtailment of the season across Steps 3-6, Tim Fuell and Dave Anderson get confirmation from Northern Premier League Chairman that that's not the same as Null and Void.
First up Ian Horswell CEO of Jersey Bulls. Two seasons in non league, never beaten... except by the system. Another promotion denied but could there be an opportunity to move up the ladder if the FA bring in Step 4-6 restructuring?
Meanwhile, Mark Harris dispels some myths, quells some fears and honestly assesses the way forward for non league.
Rounding off the show, David Richardson, Senior Writer of The Non League Paper with a look ahead to this weekend's paper.

Ollie Bayliss has already divulged what will be on his eagerly awaited BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show this afternoon, in addition to his interview with National League General Manager Mark Ives the show will also feature the Essex Senior League, the Football Supporters Association (FSA) and the Herts Senior County League. So who listened to it then yesterday afternoon, don't all rush at once, you don't expect to be on the edge of your seat listening to radio do you however Ollie Bayliss's BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show manages to do that for two hours and especially yesterday with the forty minute or so interview with National League General Manager Mark Ives. The trouble with Ollie is that he is far too nice and doesn't like ruffling feathers, he hasn't got a Piers Morgan or Jeremy Paxman style so the interviewee has an easy ride as was the case with Mr Ives yesterday who was able to get away with blue murder for the way he has overseen the National League fiasco, that's obvioulsy no criticism of Ollie Bayliss. When slightly probed as to why no Minutes were taken at the all important meeting between the FA, DCMS and National League to discuss future funding 'grants', Mr Ives just shugged his shoulders and said it wasn't a National League meeting, that pretty much says it all. Aside from that, Michelle Dorling was on the show from the Essex Senior League as was Andy Walsh from the Football Supporters Association (FSA) and Scott Patmore from the Herts Senior County League who all gave interesting and informative interviews. Chalfont St Peter supremo Finlay Johnson discussed some excellent Charity work he is involved with at Mill Meadow and lastly a disappointed Luke Garrard was interviewed following Boreham Wood's 2-2 National League draw with Solihull Moors on Saturday at Meadow Park which they should have won comfortably:

Sorry folks, it's the Suffolk Non League Show again from last night, the good news though is that Ollie Bayliss was guesting and you can listen to his feature at exactly 8 minutes and 20 seconds into the show, you can then obviously switch off straight afterwards. To be far to the hosts they did welcome Ollie as describing him as 'Non League Royalty' however even that is an understatement, hopefully they were on their knees and did an Austin Powers 'We Are Not Worthy' in the studio:

Ollie Bayliss is still tight lipped about what and who will be featured on his BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show this afternoon. Obviously Boreham Wood will be covered following their 1-0 midweek defeat at Wealdstone, with unsurprisingly former player Connor Smith scoring the goal, and yesterday's 2-2 draw at Dagenham & Redbridge having been 2-0 ahead, no doubt boss Luke Garrard will be interviewed. Anyway hopefully the SSML will get a mention this week following the announcement last Thursday that the League is consulting with Club's over a potential end of season cup competition. Sorry folks, unfortunately it's the Suffolk Non League Show again from Monday evening if, in the very unlikely event, anybody is interested. I see that the Suffolk FA have confirmed that it is their intention to complete their 2020/21 County Cup competitions that have already started, or at least progress them to a stage where they can then be concluded at the beginning of the new 2021/22 campaign, it is hoped that the County Cups can recommence from week beginning Monday 12 April however a number of factors remain to be confirmed which will influence the Suffolk FA's ability to progress each competition:

Ollie Bayliss has yet to announce what and who will be featured on his eagerly awaited BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show this afternoon. I assume he will cover the rightly rejected Step 2 proposal of a 'mini-league' which will be the perfect 'excuse' to talk to St Albans City and Hemel Hempstead Town, that's obviously no criticism of Ollie however the two Club's, as well as Boreham Wood, are very heavily featured every week. No doubt Boreham Wood will be covered following their 0-0 draw at Woking last Tuesday evening and their 0-0 draw with high flying Torquay United at Meadow Park yesterday, boss Luke Garrard will, as always, be complaining about something. Anyway roll on 2.00pm:

Lets get ready to rumble folks, I have it on good authority that Ollie Bayliss's BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show in ten minutes or so will cover, as anticipated, the unsurprising rejection of the Step 2 'mini league' by the FA. Also featured will be the Hellenic League with their excellent Chairman Bob Dalling and, wait for it, Ollie will be looking ahead to the restart in early April of the FA Vase with Leighton Town, that means Joe Sweeney should hopefully be speaking on the show:

The other Non League Football Show still takes place every Friday with presenter Tim Fuell and although it's obviously not Ollie Bayliss on a Sunday afternoon it's still worth listening to particularly last Friday's episode as they didn't have co-presenter Dave Anderson on who always totally ruins it:

The Non League Football Show (audioboom.com)

Join Tim Fuell and team every week throughout the season with the biggest stories, the biggest names and the biggest knowledge of everything "nonleague". The longest running Non League Football show in the world. New episode every Friday morning during the football season.

The other Non League Football Show from earlier today if, in the unlikely event, anybody is interested as co-presenter Dave Andersen is unfortunately back after a week off last week:

The Non League Football Show / 19th March 2021 - Anthony Hughes - Vice Chairman Southern League (audioboom.com)

Completing the 'set' of Steps 1-4, Anthony Hughes, Vice Chairman of the Southern League joins Dave Anderson and Tim Fuell to give his insight into the season gone in non league and lessons learnt. A valuable insight into one of the people guiding and representing the non league game at the highest level of administration, his is another honest appraisal of the season gone and the season ahead.
Plus David Richardson provides the Non League Paper Round-up in this 80 minute show.

Ollie Bayliss is tight lipped so far today about what and who will be featured on his BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show this afternoon, I expect he will touch on the blazers at the FA Council ratifying the decision to curtail the 2020/21 League campaign at Steps 3-6 level with no further matches taking place. Obviously Boreham Wood will be heavily featured following their exciting 2-2 midweek stalemate with Notts County at Meadow Park as well as their equally pulsating 3-3 draw at Aldershot yesterday, in both games they once again threw leads away and Notts County scored twice late on so boss Luke Garrard won't be best pleased. Anyway roll on 2.00pm:

Bulletin folks, I have it on good authority that Ollie Bayliss will, as anticipated, discuss the curtailment of Steps 3-6 on his eagerly awaited BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show at 2.00pm. Ollie will also look ahead to the return of the FA Vase with Flackwell Heath and feature the Herts Senior County League, Risborough Rangers and, wait for it, Biggleswade United which should be interesting, I wonder whether Guillem Balague will be interviewed although it's more likely to be Tracey James:

Just to say 'fame at last', Andy Warhol eat your heart out and his 'fifteen minutes of fame', Karen got three mentions on Ollie Bayliss's BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show this afternoon, albeit by way of name dropping from Tracey James at Biggleswade United who was featured on the show on behalf of the Club. As always Tracey gave a great and very articulate interview, whatever Guillem Balague is paying her at the Keech Hospice Care Stadium it isn't enough ?:
