A reminder that BBC Radio Northampton have their own Non League Show, 'Non League Scene' and it's on again this evening (Monday 29 April) at 6.00pm hosted by Chance Litchfield. I assume that it will preview the two SSML Division One Play-Off Semi Finals tomorrow involving three Northamptonshire Club's, Northampton Sileby Rangers who host Wellingborough Whitworth and Moulton FC who travel to Winslow United:

This week's other Non League Show:

The Non League Football Show / 03 May 2024 - Balham FC & Solihull Moors (audioboom.com)

First up, a Community Club making the National headlines but you may not have seen it but you do need to know. Balham FC play in the Combined Counties Premier South but it’s the 20 sides from U8s upwards and ladies team that make this Football Club so successful. Bringing on young talent and young people, which as my guest Finance Director Dereck Fordham explains is something they are very proud of and want to continue to do despite the issues they’ve made the headlines with for doing everything right in my eyes.
Then we talk football, old friend of the show Andy Whing is in his first season as a full-time boss, his first season at Solihull Moors and he’s made Wembley twice in a week. First up it’s Sunday’s prize game against Bromley for a place in the English Football League, not that you’d be able to tell from one of the game’s calmest and nicest Manager's around.
Rounding up the week’s non league news - and there is plenty of it, including breaking news as we recorded - is Jon Couch of the Non League Paper, play-offs play a big part along with admin and Managerial moves.

This week's other Non League Show previewing the FA Trophy and FA Vase Finals tomorrow (Saturday 11 May) at Wembley Stadium:

The Non League Football Show / 10th May 2024 - Non League Finals Day, FA Vase, FA Trophy and Great Wakering Rovers (audioboom.com)

Another hectic week in non league football as play-offs are played, dreams are realised or crushed and the home of English football gets ready for the double cup final that crowns the non league season. Yes it’s Non League Finals day on Saturday and we talk to some of those getting ready for the big day and take a look at the four Club's who will be enjoying their day in the sun.
First up is the man with more knowledge than the taxi rank by Wembley Way. The statto for every great cup competition, Mr Phil Annets, joins me to chat facts behind the FA Vase, FA Trophy and the FA Cup as we also pick up on the winners of this season’s ninth FA Cup Team Awards, the FACTAs.
My next guest has been on my radar for a while and I hope you will agree it’s been worth the wait. He’s possibly the non league legend you weren’t yet aware of but for sure you will want to know more about him, and his little village Club whether they win in the FA Vase Final on Saturday or not. Dave Patient has been involved in Non League for over 4 decades before getting his chance at Wembley, and with a serious health scare forcing him to miss their first Semi Final, he’s more than lived up to that patient name. Now, the Chair and Director of Football at Great Wakering Rovers is just aiming for Saturday to be a great day for all involved.
Giving as a trip on a busy week of non league news Matt Badcock of the Non League Paper. We’ve had Play-offs, Crowd issues, an England C win, administrative confusion and plenty of Manager movements all to be reported on.

Don't forget Ollie Bayliss's BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show this evening (Monday 13 May), between 6.00 and 7.00, which annoyingly was not broadcast last week due to the bank holiday. The show will feature Marlow FC, Bedford Town, Leverstock Green, Wormley Rovers and Winslow United as well as features on Playoffs, Promotions and Summer Breaks. Fill your boots at 6.00pm:

Sadly no BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show with Ollie Bayliss this evening and until the start of the new 2024/25 campaign, the same goes for BBC Radio Northampton's 'Non League Scene' show.

It's all gone quiet for now on the Podcast front and Non League Shows etc with their hosts taking a well earned pre-season break however I have recently become aware that Biggleswade United host a Podcast and the latest episode this week introduces their new Manager Kane Dougherty as well as esteemed Chairman Guillem Balagué giving some interesting input:

The Non League Football Show / 24th May 2024 - Season end, National Game Awards and League Allocations (audioboom.com)

A final weekly look for the season as we head into hibernation to plan for next season but still plenty to round-up this week before we go. All with the help of Matt Badcock of the Non League Paper. There’s more Managerial movement, Club allocation debates and awards galore.

The other Non League Show is back for the 2024/25 campaign, I thought it might have been last week for the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round however here is last night's (Friday 9 August) show:

The Non League Football Show / 09th August 2024 - Grounds maintenance and the season begins (audioboom.com)

Back with another season and this weekly look at the world of Non League football.
As many Club's up and down the Country kick off their competitive season, it is often only possible thanks to the often-overlooked hard work of one or a handful of people at the club. The ground staff make football possible for all of us. Our first guest is at the heart of the revolution that has seen important changes and improvements of grass pitches up and down the country. Geoff Webb is the CEO of the Ground Management Association and he gives some insight into what has been happening, what's to come, and how you might get involved If you are a Groundsman or not - it's fascinating stuff.
Lots went on over the summer and the Non League Paper covered it all, Jon Couch helps round up some of the big talking points and gives us a heads-up on what’s to come in this weekend’s Non League Paper.

This week's other Non League Show with special guest, wait for it, Phil Annets:

https://audioboom.com/posts/8556997-16th-august-2024-fa-cup-prelim-and-boro-rangers?playlist_direction=forward

It is the FA Cup Preliminary Round, 134 Club's from Step 4 and 138 Club's from Step 5 in action across the weekend, hoping to secure the £1,444 winning prize-money but also a place in the First Qualifying Round when the 88 Step 3 Club's join the competition. Phil Annets returns to the fold to offer a review of the Extra Preliminary Round and a preview of this weekend’s games too.
One Club through to this round is Boro Rangers, a Club younger than any of the players that will even feature in the completion this season but one on the up and in the right way too as founder and Chairman Mark Curtis explains.
Matt Badcock helps round up the week’s non-league news and previews this weekend’s Non League Paper.

Don't forget Ollie Bayliss's BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show this evening (Monday 19 August) between 6.00 and 7.00, Ollie is currently tight lipped on who and what will be featured on the show however it will obviously include Saturday's FA Cup Preliminary Round ties involving local Club's including Aylesbury Vale Dynamos, Biggleswade United, Harpenden Town and particularly Milton Keynes Irish following their 3-1 win at Step 3 Concord Rangers:

This week's other Non League Show, again with special guest Phil Annets previewing the weekend's FA Vase First Round Qualifying Round ties:

https://audioboom.com/posts/8560095-23rd-august-2024-fa-vase-1q-fa-trophy-prelim-staines-lammas-middlesex?playlist_direction=forward

The FA Trophy and FA Vase begin this weekend, the Trophy has a rare Preliminary Round and the FA Vase the First Round Qualifying Round. Phil Annets is on hand to offer some stats and insight into the ties coming up this weekend, which is a busy weekend for him and Non League football.
Not as busy for my next guest as while his team is back in the FA Vase after a 10-year hiatus they’ve been drawn away. No less exciting and still likely to be very well supported for a Step 6 side. Oliver Ellary explains more about his love for Non League and Staines & Lammas (Middlesex) FC.
Jon Crouch is the man with the Non League Paper round-up, not the busiest week in Non League but still Managerial changes and plenty to discuss.

I don't expect too many of you, if anyone, listened to Ollie Bayliss's BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show yesterday (Monday) evening as Ollie was sadly not presenting the show however should you, in the unlikely event, wish to listen back with stand in presenter Sam Avery, it featured Saturday's and the bank holiday Monday fixtures involving local Club's:
