Chelmsford are mid table with a record of  W5 D5 L5 but are having a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde season Theyve had wins of 4-0, 4-1 and 4-0 and losses of 4-1 and 4-1 In our favour they travel badly and have had just one away win against a basement side  With home advantage  I believe we'll  edge it

It's interesting that theyve scored 25 goals in their 15 games but 15 came from just 4 games

Well we know 2 players are definitely not involved possibly 3 depending on Lee Togwell’s injury. We know Francis will be added, I wonder if Joe will be recalled too? May even be a new face...

I think our managers said Joe Grant was on a season long lone and can't be recalled.

Don’t recall reading or hearing that but I’m sure one of them will confirm that. Would be very surprised if a club can’t recall one of their own for that length of time?

He is a non-contract player on dual-registration so can come back at any point.

Alright all. To put it incredibly bluntly, this’ll be our last game. A number of our fans have been told we’ll fold next week (more on that in a second) due to an unpaid tax bill, and Slough away will be our final game before, quite frankly ceasing to exist. We’ve been give a winding up order by the High Court for Wednesday (link) and we’ve all been told there’s no way we can pay the bill imposed on us. From a 3-3 draw on 27 August 1938 against Bristol Rovers Reserves, we’ve now come full circle and will bow out in November 2019 away to Slough.

Sad news nobody likes to see a club go out of business,hope you can find a last minute deal.

Now that Francis has been recalled wonder if we are going to play two up front again,Dan has very looked very isolated the last two games.Will be another tough game,going for a Slough win 1-0 Att.720

According to the Chelmsford City website, the club is owned by Chelmsford City Football Club Ltd. which is not the company against which the winding-up order has been issued by HM Revenue & Customs.

It looks to me that this matter is a problem which is in hand and will be resolved, without the football club ceasing to operate.
