So it's wet, cold and damp and players cannot play to their maximum potential.

It's the same for both sides and Oxford did pretty well with their passing game.

We shouldn't go looking for excuses for a not so good performance.

The Welling forum is in meltdown regarding their recent performances and lack of effort /interest Their last 7 league games have produced 1 win(bottom Hungerford) 1 draw and 5 losses  They scored twice against Hungerford and have scored 3 in those 7 games so 1 goal in the other 6 I think we can be optimistic for Tuesday

Looking at the league position of the teams we have dropped points to this season, playing sides nearer the PO seems to suit us better.

Obviously it's better to be in form than not but as we found out on Saturday it still boils down to performing on the day.
