the day after

well I was mightely disappointed yesterday as I dont like to see our team play so poorly....and they did...regardless of the point it was one of the worst urchin performances I have seen....

 

however....once I had got home my overriding recollections were of the day itself....the restaurant full with our fans before the match...treating themselves to a good day out....

 

the ricay fans mixing with ours in the bar before and after the game....the 850 spectators and the banter during the game...yeah...there were a couple on both sides that went to far but no harm done...

 

the fans all in red and white...the band and the noise....the urchinettes on good form...

 

 

we could only close our eyes and dream of such days two years ago.....

 

we're 4th in the league...in two cups and a good FA cup run....

 

we can play better....injuries heal....

 

it was a good day even though we didn't perform well at all....lets see what happens and keep these great saturdays going...

Yeah i too had a really good time yesterday.

First Half especially the atmosphere was electric in the standing enclosure.

 

Good chat with a couple of ricay boys after the game. Nice bunch of lads really.

 

It was a poor performance yesterday but every team has em.
