Stingray from another Forum was at this one last night, I won't describe him as an anorak, also the match report is already on Leverstock Green's website:

South Midlands Premier
LEVERSTOCK GREEN 0-1 HARPENDEN TOWN
Admission £7.00 Prog £1.00 Comestibles £5.80
Attendance 30 (looked more) plus two SML officials and might as well include the visiting keeper while I'm at it.

Just one goal was enough for the Harps who plucked it out courtesy of Matthew Standen after about 15 minutes. Leverstock Green might just as well not have bothered to turn up as they were utterly clueless and devoid of any ideas and their cause wasn't helped by Cass Grant who's clumsy lunge quite rightly earned him first refusal on the hot water. In fairness they did improve slightly after the break - well, they couldn't have been much worse - but in the end they'd been well and truly strung up by their guests.

And if that wasn't bad enough, nobody had thought to turn on the TVs in the clubhouse so it's not as if anyone could have found something more diverting - unless they fancied a wander up to whatever was going on at Vauxhall Road.

Nico Campbell with one of the goals tonite he's made the jump up from Step 7 to Step 6 football with ease.  A class player.

Savagebee - Yes, it sounded like London Lions made a game of it on Tuesday but St Panteleimon were too strong and didn't concede which is rare for them:

A bit after the Lord Mayors Show folks but the St Panteleimon v London Lions game was covered on the excellent London Football Guide website this week and they are always spot on with their information and predictions. It wasn't expected was it that St Panteleimon would hit the ground sprinting in the way they have this term at Step 6 level, had it been New Salamis then eyebrows wouldn't have been raised at all particularly under the great man, George Georgiou:

SSML Division 1
St Panteleimon v London Lions @745pm - in terms of form, the hosts are one of the best sides to watch in London right now. The Greek Cypriot club, who groundshare at North Greenford United, are new to this higher level and haven't lost any of their opening 13 games to put themselves nine points clear at this early stage. The visitors, a Jewish club, are coasting along nicely enough in midtable but they'll do well to get anything here.
