Prediction Lg; Wk 8 results, wk 9 games: 26th Oct by 12:30

I'm doing the update a day early this week as I appear to be going to a beer festival tomorrow - and who's gonna believe the results I produce after all that lemonade ? (Whaddayamean you never believe a word anyway?).  Meanwhile I didn't go to Leatherhead today so can't comment - but I went last year and that was bloody brilliant if that counts?

And talking of brilliant - we finally saw wins in the Prediction League for the previously winless and un-brilliant Blackballed and Dummy Team.  Bottom-hugger Blackballed even managed to beat previous table-topper Mr D - which shows just what a "tough league this is" [copyright EPL 1992-2019].  So we have a new league leader - yes it's that guy Ozz who I'm thinking of banning on the grounds that he clearly isn't as incompetent as the rest of us.  For the Dummys (Dummies?) it was finally a chance for their long-suffering fans to celebrate, though I'm not sure their raucous chant of "Can we play you every week?" to a hapless Dinamo was really within the spirit of the game.  Quite funny though!

The father-son battles ended one-each, with Urchin Yid doing the biz for the youngsters, and my good self holding up for the old boys.  So it will be 1961 and The Baby doing the bedtime crying (which will be especially grim if Les is watching the rerun of the Spurs-Watford game on MoTD!).  Big shout outs to Mick The Bat who unexpectedly scooped the golden boot for the first time in his career, (mind you he was playing Colin "the sieve"),  Lady Jago who cruised to a win over The Hat after having the courage to go 1-1 on the Potters Bar game, and MickMick who must have endured an entire week in a windowless car workshop to replace his many many missing wheels.

Oh yeah, and Bill Gates has still not explained the mysterious calculation error behind  Cup of Tea's continued Div 2 eminence. P.C. Luke is now on  the case after being the latest cyber victim.

It's all here innit :

I thank you.

This is very serious Cuppa and I am disappointed to hear about it.  I will not allow bullying and rumour-mongering to corrupt the good name of this competition.  #kickcuppabullyingout

Meanwhile I see Colin has taken match-fixing to a new level - I know he's desperate for the points but honestly!

Watford 1 - 2 Bournemouth
Sheff Wed 1 - 1 Leeds (12:30)
