How much longer can Aylesbury Vale Dynamos FC survive playing at that place? With the constant flooding and now Covid I don't know how they will survive in the long term.  The town of Aylesbury needs a brand new ground for both Aylesbury clubs to share ? That's not near a river ?

An update from Aylesbury Vale Dynamos, the hallowed Haywood Way turf is looking immaculate isn't it:

As we have previously mentioned there has been lots of activity at the ground over this lockdown period.

We have now almost finished work on the down stairs bar which was previously a nursery. This will host games in the Aylesbury Darts League and also the Super League. The area will also be used on matchdays as a boardroom and generally is a multi function area for club activities.

The upper bar is also being extended with the existing kitchen being knocked through and the installation of new carpeting throughout that area.

Outside we are also working on two seating areas which can be used for social occasions.

On the footballing front there is also a lot of activity with grants and we hope to be able to bring you some very exciting news over the next few weeks so watch this space.

This is interesting, Aylesbury Vale Dynamos have created their own Forum, what's wrong with using this one unless the Club are unaware of it:

It's the annual pre-season friendly this evening for 'bragging rights' in Aylesbury, 7.00pm kick off for some reason, I wonder whether Ollie Bayliss will be in attendance:

A pre season local derby tonight. A young Aylesbury Vale Dynamos team against an established Aylesbury United hopefully a good game will be served up and everyone enjoys it. Note the early kick off of 7pm at Haywood way.

Aylesbury Vale Dynamos suffered humiliation and embarrassment last night against Aylesbury United going down 7-0 however it could have been far worse with the visitors taking their foot off the gas after the interval, already leading 5-0, and boss Ben Williams doing 'a Sven' and totally changing the line up during the break. Unfortunately it won't have cheered up Aylesbury Vale Dynamos Chairman Mike Borrett who is self isolating at present and was forced to miss the encounter although, on second thoughts, he was probably delighted:
