Yes to a degree but as you and I know, RR, the Slough area is not the best of areas for getting new supporters to a game, and so these sort of initiatives [non league day etc] are worthwhile.

At Wexham Park we averaged between 800 and 1,200 for most Conference games, so we aren't doing too bad in a division lower. We have a good strong fan base that has derived over the years of the club , that comes out for an FA Cup game or important game but we need to be tapping into a younger element and maybe, the different cultural elements within our town for the club to swell it's numbers for good attendances on a regular basis.

Muddy lane? Is it still there? spent a lot of my youth using it to jump into the field of St Ethelberts and play football

Pity this news was not released last friday as there were loads of Reading fc supporters at Reading train station going home after the Flackwell game chatting to a few would of passed the news on to them.

As far as I can see Slough are the only local club offering free entry for league clubs season ticket holders.

At Dulwich it's £12 and £5 for all.

Just hope we get 1,000+ to reward the clubs’ efforts. Then it’s down to the team to turn on the style and more importantly win to entice these extras back!
