Non League Day v Billericay.

I will miss that match as an acquaintance wanted a day trip to Bath so I chose the Saturday when they are at home to Maidstone United for our early Christmas drink. Bath City held a pay what you like Community Day against Eastbourne Borough on
14th. September which attracted a crowd of 1,444 to Twerton Park. I would love to see that at Arbour Park. It will be the normal £10 for over 65s for the Maidstone United match but it should attract a good crowd of 1,000+.

So Billericay season ticket holders can get in for free on the day? I'm presuming that will be correct as it's "any other club"

Some great promotions by the club and hoping for a huge attendance on the day. Don't forget to help out if you can! More people in the ground will mean the club will need a few extra volunteers I'm sure to make the day a success.

I guess this applies to Billericay Town season ticket holders too? You’d really hope with all the London Premiership and Championship sides not playing and other local clubs bring away this will really swell the attendance. 2 fantastic deals with more to come, the club are pulling out all the stops to get a massive crowd in, hope they’re rewarded with 1,500+

No, just to clarify this is for Premier League and EFL clubs only and has been made clearer now. The aim of course is to get people watching non-league football who wouldn’t usually.

Agree that the line has to be drawn somewhere and Non league day is about attracting the bigger clubs fans who wouldn't usually watch....However, I wonder if we are planning to target Maidenhead in any way as they are away

Are we aiming to get these offers onto all the local clubs Facebook and Twitter pages?

Yes, there is a Facebook ad going out imminently and we are targeting certain clubs with Tweets.

I'm going to try and get something in the Maidenhead advertiser but I would imagine plenty of their fans will see the FB ad and Tweets.

I echo Gary's comment. If we get the sort of crowd we are after the current level of volunteers will struggle to cope so if you feel like mucking in, even for one day, please get involved and help make the day a success.

Gary STFC , I would have liked to help but I'm out of action for 4 to 6 weeks [so will be missing a few Slough games]  as my hernia operation is in the week of Non League Day.

Sod's law, really, as I would prefer to help out on the odd occasion rather than volunteer for regular duties, and would have helped this time.

Best of luck with the day. Hope it get's a few more punters through the turnstiles. The club will need to grow the support, for it to be ready to go into the National League. Up to this point Slough haven't been very lucky with non league day, as most times it's fallen on an away fixture, so we could do with it being a success this time around.

As what happens at most clubs the more successful a club is the more people will turn up.
