The one name you wouldn't call Scott Davies! ha ha.

The highlights make Eastbourne look good !

The sending off was harsh. Agreed with the first yellow but the second yellow looked nothing and about summed up Eastbourne's day ie nothing went right for them. Slough on the other hand coasted to the win, pardon the pun.

No idea why Francis Amartey was booked.

It happened right where I was standing and he did absolutely nothing to get booked.

Not listened to Unders interview RR, explains that he was booked as he committed 4 fouls in 10 minutes

I don't think Eastbourne were that bad.

They started ok and then lost their new signing the big number 5 Jordan Rose to injury followed by their full back.

Things certainly went down hill after that and got worse as the second half wore on.

We will have to agree to disagree on Eastbourne,RR. I didn't think the referee helped their cause, by some of his decisions but Slough looked the better team throughout IMO. To me Eastbourne looked bereft of confidence and found it hard to make any headway, failed to get to grips with our midfield and didn't create much of anything. They have a few good players but on the day, bar one, they all had a game to forget. Lee Bradbury can't be happy with how his team performed, regardless of the two injured players who left the field. The highlights of the game which has been put on this thread, flatters them no end.

Funny enough, Irishadrian, my friend and I were talking about the level of support Slough get away from home and how good it is, numbers wise.

I would say that between 20 and 25% wasn't far from the truth, which is amazing, given that it wasn't that long ago that we only used to get 300 at home matches at Beaconsfield.

It's a huge change Its highly likely imo that at some stage this season especially if we find ourselves in the top group we will have Slough away support  greater than our home support back in the wilderness years Remarkable really!

And I agree these expert supporters can be out of order.

Dan Robert's unsettling of there backline all game was superb and a worthy goal to top it off.

Also got talking to an ex Lewes player who played against us in the 1970.s up against our England amateur international Alf Darcy.

Having seen a large proportion of the games Alf D'Arcy played for Slough including one against Lewes I am not at all surprised that their former player remembered playing against him.

Like you KGB i would of been at the game with my dad to. He was saying they both were having a right old slanging match throughout the game but once finished they were both drinking together in the bar afterwards.
