As for Saturday, why not drop the Crab, play Alex in the middle for the creative influence he has and Steer on the left flank to provide the crosses for Hodges and Miller?

Be amazed if it's not Boot for Miller, as much as I think MM is one of the players who wants to win in the side the most.

Would agree that from Saturday we need to make a few changes. I am sure you can all guess one but I also agree it is time to give Matt a break and bring Steer in for Williams allowing Super Al some more freedom in the centre of the park.

Matt Miller is one of my favourite players simply because of his tireless work rate and enthusiasm. Against Walton at 3-0 he tried to gee up the players in the last minute and got a goal.

Perhaps most worrying of all is the fact that the goals for Hodge seem to be drying up. To be honest I think anyone would struggle to score with the poor service they have been getting.

As for Maidenhead, obviosuly we must pick the strongest XI available, our squad is not big enough to rest players and even a creditable losing performance may give the boys some confidence before the next fixture in t'league.
