Newport Pagnell Town host Didcot Town at Willen Road on Tuesday 3 March for a berth in the Semi Final of the Berks & Bucks FA Senior Cup, Wycombe Wanderers unsurprisingly won 3-0 at Hungerford Town last night and will no doubt be joined by Milton Keynes Dons and Reading in the Semi Final:

Not directly SSML related, however Milton Keynes Dons and Reading FC will join Wycombe Wanderers and our very own Newport Panell Town in the Semi Finals of the Berks & Bucks FA Senior Cup by around 9.45 tonight, I assume that the draw will then take place later this week. It would be really interesting to known who Newport Pagnell Town supremo Gary Flinn and Chairman Steve Handley would like to be paired with and where, would they prefer an exciting trip to either the Madejski Stadium, Adams Park or Stadium MK and be wined and dined for the evening or play at Willen Road where the Swans would have more chance, albeit remote, of an upset and getting to the Final:

Here we go folks, hold on to your hats, Newport Pagnell Town host Wycombe Wanderers at Willen Road in a money spinning Berks & Bucks FA Senior Cup Semi Final, date yet to be confirmed. The other Semi Final sees Slough Town host Reading, Slough shocked Milton Keynes Dons on penalties on Tuesday evening after a 2-2 draw at Arbour Park whilst Reading drew 0-0 at Marlow's Oak Tree Road but won the penalty shoot out:

A sad statement from the Berks & Bucks FA regarding their County Cup competitions this season, it's such a shame for Newport Pagnell Town who were looking forward to their Senior Cup Semi Final tie with Wycombe Wanderers at Willen Road:

Statement regarding County Cup Competitions 2019/20

On Wednesday 15th April an online meeting was held by the Board of Directors of Berks & Bucks FA to discuss the outstanding County Cup Competitions for the 2019-20 season.

Our County Cups are at various stages; with some competitions already having finalists decided and others still at the quarter final stage. With no timescale for a return to normality and football being able to resume safely again, we were faced with many challenging decisions.

With this in mind, after considerable discussion, The Board voted to cancel all outstanding County Cup Competitions for the 2019-20 season and to expunge the results.

We appreciate that teams, players, club officials and spectators have put in tremendous work and supported their teams to progress in the competitions and know that this decision will be disappointing for those closely involved in the latter stages. However, the health and welfare of our participants was at the heart of this difficult decision.

All teams who were still involved in Berks & Bucks FA County Cup competitions at the time of cancellation will receive free entry into next season's Cup.

The Berks & Bucks FA have issued an update and state that in the event of their County Cup Competition programme not commencing by 1 November, then the competitions for next season will not start:
